What the cheapest tier is
Starter Threads followers are basic accounts delivered quickly at the lowest price. They raise the count on your Threads profile, but many have no photo or posts, and they're the first to go when Meta removes inactive or fake accounts. Most Starter options don't offer refills.
Prices
On Starter, 1,000 followers cost ₹2,099 and 5,000 cost ₹10,495 where Starter is available. The default option is ₹2,099. Compare tiers in the table, updated 24 Oct 2026.
When cheap is fine
Getting a new Threads profile off the starting line. A secondary or brand-test account. A test before spending more. For your main personal brand, Stable or Premium usually costs less over a month because the count holds.
Why cheap is risky on Threads
Threads profiles link to Instagram, and people can tap any follower to see their Instagram. Empty profiles stand out more than on many platforms. Meta's clean-ups cover both apps, so drops can be noticeable.
Placing the order
Paste threads.net/@yourname, choose the Starter option and a quantity between 10 and 5,000, and pay. Keep the profile public.
Free ways to grow
Link your Threads profile from your Instagram bio and Stories. Repost your best Threads post to Instagram Stories, which Meta makes easy. Reply on trending conversations with something specific. Post daily. These cost nothing and bring followers who actually read you.
No hidden costs
The price shown is what's deducted from your wallet. Even on Starter, the order page shows the starting count and progress, and partial orders are refunded automatically.
Paying and tracking
Top up by UPI from ₹100 using PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm or any bank app.
Example: a student's first Threads account
A Pune engineering student posts daily about learning to code and internships. Her Threads starts at 40 followers. She spends ₹30 on Starter followers so the account doesn't look brand new, then focuses on replying to Indian tech founders' posts. Her real following grows from those replies within a month.
Cheap versus Stable on Threads
Starter followers cost less per thousand, but if a third of them disappear in a Meta clean-up within a month, the real cost per follower that stays rises, and your profile visibly shrinks. Stable followers cost more upfront but come with a refill period, so drops are topped up for free within the window. For a profile you plan to grow for years, Stable usually works out better. For a quick test, Starter is fine.
Pair cheap followers with real activity
Cheap followers look worst on an inactive profile. Before ordering, post five or six times so the profile has content, and keep posting afterwards. A new account with followers and no posts is the clearest sign that the followers were bought, and Threads readers notice.
Small orders, spread out
Rather than 10,000 Starter followers at once, place smaller orders over a few weeks as you post more. Growth that roughly tracks your activity looks natural to readers and is less likely to attract Meta's attention.
Checking your order
The order page records your follower count when delivery began and tracks progress. A week after completion, compare the count with the delivered amount to see how much has dropped. That tells you whether Starter suits your account or whether Stable is worth the extra cost next time.
