Who still needs Facebook in India
Instagram gets the attention, but Facebook is where a lot of India still checks out a business before calling it. A used-car dealer in Ghaziabad, a dental clinic in Hyderabad, a ward-level candidate in a municipal election, a Marathi news page: their customers and voters are often above 30, outside the metros, and on Facebook every day.
For these buyers the page itself is the shopfront. A page with 37 likes and a last post from 2023 tells a visitor the business might not even be open.
Page likes or followers?
Facebook's newer page experience shows followers more prominently than likes, and some pages show only one of the two. Before ordering, open your page on a phone and check which number appears under the page name. Order that one. If both appear, page likes usually add to followers as well, but the option card tells you how each one behaves.
Post likes and reactions are separate. They go on individual posts, not the page, and are the cheapest way to make a page look active once the follower count is reasonable.
Video, Reels and live
Facebook counts video views, Reels plays and live viewers separately. Video views are cheap and help a walkthrough or product video look watched. Reels views help short clips get tested on a wider audience. Live viewers join while you're live, which matters for launches, puja live streams, cooking demos and political events where an empty viewer count makes people leave.
Groups
Group members are added to Facebook groups you run, such as a buy-and-sell group for a city, a parents' group for a school or a community group for a housing society. Groups with a few thousand members get join requests on their own far more often than groups with forty.
Links and what to avoid
Page likes and followers need your page link (facebook.com/yourpage or a profile.php?id= link). Post likes need the post link, and video services need the video or Reel link. Make sure the post's audience is set to Public. We don't sell Facebook reviews or recommendations; fake reviews mislead customers, and Facebook removes them.
