Why views matter on YouTube
View count is social proof right under the title, in search and in suggested videos. A tutorial with 41 views looks untested; at 8,000 it looks like something people found useful. Views also matter for sponsorship conversations, where brands look at average views per video more than subscriber count.
Prices
On the default option, 1,000 views cost ₹19, 5,000 cost ₹95 and 10,000 cost ₹190, about ₹0.019 per view. Higher tiers, where listed, usually offer better retention (viewers stay longer) and lower drop. Every option shows its start time, daily speed and refill, updated 24 Oct 2026.
Retention: the number YouTube really watches
YouTube doesn't only count views. It looks at how long people watch, whether they click from impressions, and what they do afterwards. Views with very short watch time do little for recommendations and are more likely to be filtered. Options listing retention, often as a minute range or percentage, cost more but look more natural in YouTube's eyes and in your Analytics.
The frozen counter
On new videos YouTube sometimes holds the public view count while it checks views, and then releases a batch. Your order may be delivering while the counter seems stuck. Give it a few hours before worrying. Views YouTube decides aren't valid can be removed, which is why some options include a refill period.
When to order
In the first day after upload, when YouTube is deciding whether to suggest the video more widely. Views on old videos still help social proof for visitors who browse your channel, and they're useful before a sponsor checks your recent averages, but they won't revive a video YouTube has stopped recommending.
Keep the ratios believable
On Indian channels, roughly 2–5 likes per 100 views and a handful of comments per thousand views is normal. Add likes and a few custom comments alongside large view orders. Also keep views reasonable against subscribers: 200,000 views on every video of a 900-subscriber channel looks odd unless the videos are clearly viral.
Placing the order
The video must be public; unlisted, private, age-restricted and Premiere-pending videos may not work. Copy the link from the Share button (youtu.be/… or youtube.com/watch?v=…), paste it, choose a quantity between 50 and 1,00,000, and pay. On the default option, 10,000 views take about 1–5 days. Don't order on the same video from several panels at once.
Views and monetisation
Monetised channels earn from ads shown to real viewers. Paid views don't bring meaningful ad revenue, and YouTube can treat artificial traffic as a policy issue for monetised channels. If your channel is in the Partner Programme, be especially careful: use small, high-retention orders on new uploads, or focus on real promotion.
Example: a Marathi recipe channel
A home cook in Pune posts Marathi recipe videos twice a week. Each upload gets 2,000 views with retention in the first day, plus 60 likes. Viewers searching for “puran poli recipe” see a video with healthy numbers and are more likely to click. Over months, real search traffic grows because the videos themselves are clear and useful.
