Likee and the 2020 ban
Likee, the short-video app from the Singapore-based Bigo Technology, owned by China's JOYY, was one of the 59 apps India blocked in June 2020. Before that, it had a large Indian user base, especially in smaller towns. It's no longer on Indian app stores, and we don't help anyone get around the block.
Likee is still used in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Russia, the Middle East and parts of Southeast Asia. This page is for people managing accounts aimed at audiences there.
What a like order does
The order adds likes to one public Likee video from Likee accounts over a few hours to a day. The heart count on the video rises. The likes don't add views, comments, shares or followers.
Likee shows likes prominently, and its feed uses likes along with watch time and shares to decide what to recommend. A like order changes the visible number; it doesn't guarantee more reach.
Likee's rules
Likee's community guidelines prohibit fake engagement, and it can remove likes from accounts it flags or limit the reach of videos and accounts. Some likes may drop.
Likee also runs creator rewards and live-streaming gifts. If your account earns that way, keep away from artificial orders; losing earnings costs more than any boost.
Who orders them
Indian creators living in the Gulf who post to an Arabic- or Urdu-speaking audience on Likee, agencies running Likee accounts for clients in Indonesia or Pakistan, and businesses that sell to those markets. They use small like orders on new videos so they don't sit at zero while real viewers arrive.
If your audience is in India, Likee isn't the right platform; use Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Moj or Josh.
How many likes
Keep likes in proportion to views, usually a few likes for every hundred views. A video with 2,000 views fits 60 to 200 likes. Thousands of likes on a video with a few hundred views looks wrong.
Order on your strongest videos, not all of them.
Videos that do well on Likee
Likee is known for its effects, filters and challenges. Videos that use its trending effects, music and hashtag challenges get pushed more. Keep videos short, hook viewers instantly, and post at the times your audience is active in their own time zone.
Captions and on-screen text in the audience's language, such as Bahasa Indonesia, Urdu or Arabic, make a big difference.
Example
An Indian dance teacher living in Dubai posts short tutorials to Likee for an Urdu- and Hindi-speaking audience in the Gulf and Pakistan. A new tutorial gets 1,500 views and 25 likes on its first day. They order 50 likes, join a related hashtag challenge with a second video and reply to every comment.
The challenge entry picks up real views and likes, and new followers come from both videos.
What likes won't do
They won't add views or followers, put you on Likee's popular list or earn diamonds or rewards. They raise the like count on one video and nothing else.
Effects, challenges and consistent posting grow a Likee account.
Getting the link right
Open the video, tap 'Share' and copy the link, which usually starts with likee.video or l.likee.video. Paste one video link per order. Profile links don't work for likes.
The video must be public.
Privacy
We never ask for your Likee login or phone number. Only the public video link is used, and we never post or message from your account.
Viewers won't see that you placed an order.
Payment and refunds
Top up your wallet by UPI from ₹100 and pay from the wallet. If an order is only partly delivered, the undelivered part is refunded automatically.
Wallet money can be used on any other Reachwala service.
Likes or views?
If a new video has few views, likes on their own won't help much; order views first or put the effort into making the video reach people. If it has views but few likes, a small like order evens out the numbers. Many people order a little of both on one important video.
Keep everything in proportion, and keep posting.
