What a repost does on Threads
When someone reposts your thread, it appears on their profile and can show in their followers' feeds. The repost count also appears under the post itself. Readers treat reposts as a stronger signal than likes: a like says someone agreed, a repost says they wanted other people to see it. Posts with reposts tend to be shown to more people by Threads' feed.
Who orders Threads reposts
Creators posting a thread they want to spread beyond their followers, brands announcing a launch or event, writers sharing an article, and small businesses posting an offer worth passing around. Reposts suit posts built to travel: useful tips, news, announcements and funny observations.
How many reposts look natural
Reposts are usually a fraction of likes, often around 5–25% depending on the post. A post with 200 likes looks natural with 10–50 reposts. A post with 12 likes and 100 reposts looks staged. Order likes first, or alongside, and keep reposts in proportion.
Reposts versus quotes
Threads also lets people quote a post, adding their own comment. This service delivers plain reposts. Quotes are what real readers do when they have something to add, and they can't be faked convincingly.
Timing
Order within the first hour or two after posting, together with likes, so the post's signals rise together while Threads decides how widely to show it.
Getting the link
Open the post, tap the share icon, then Copy link (threads.net/@yourhandle/post/…). The profile must be public.
Posts that suit reposts
“5 free government apps every Indian should have”, a list of exam dates, a quick cooking tip, a relatable joke about Indian weddings, a launch announcement with a date and place. If a post isn't something people would naturally pass on, reposts look out of place.
Example
A Hyderabad personal-finance creator posted a Threads thread listing seven tax-saving options for salaried employees in the last week of March. It had 150 likes and 4 reposts in the first hour. She added 40 reposts. The thread looked like it was being shared, Threads showed it to many more users interested in money topics, and it passed 900 real reposts by the end of the week.
Pair with likes and replies
Reposts make the most sense on a post that also has likes and some replies. Reply to the first responses quickly to keep the conversation going.
What reposts won't do
Purchased reposts appear on accounts with few real followers, so they add a signal rather than real reach. Real reposts from people with audiences are what take a thread far.
Quality options
Reposts disappear if Meta removes the reposting accounts. For posts that matter, choose premium or refill options where available.
Settings
Keep your profile public and don't change your Instagram username during delivery.
What not to do
Don't use reposts to spread rumours or misleading claims. Coordinated sharing of that kind misleads people and Meta acts on it.
Privacy
Only the public post link is needed; we never ask for passwords.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from any app; the price shown is final. If the post is deleted or the profile goes private mid-delivery, the undelivered reposts are refunded to your wallet automatically.
