Video views on Facebook
Facebook counts a view when a video plays for a few seconds. The count appears under the video and in Watch, Facebook's video tab. Long videos, such as product demos, interviews, recipe videos, recorded classes and event highlights, still do well with Indian Facebook audiences, especially people over 30 who watch on Facebook rather than YouTube.
Prices
On the default option, 1,000 video views cost ₹10, 5,000 cost ₹39.50 and 10,000 cost ₹79. Options with longer retention cost more. The table lists each option's details, updated 24 Oct 2026.
Videos or Reels
Facebook treats Reels separately from regular videos. If you uploaded a vertical short as a Reel, use the Reels views service. If it's a regular video post, including horizontal videos and longer uploads, use this one. The order box checks the link type.
Monetisation
Facebook's in-stream ads programme has its own eligibility rules based on followers and real viewing minutes, and Meta reviews pages before approving monetisation. Paid views raise the public count but don't earn ad revenue and won't satisfy authentic-engagement checks. Use them for social proof, not as a path to earnings.
Getting the right link
Open the video, click its timestamp or use Share → Copy link. Video links usually look like facebook.com/yourpage/videos/… or facebook.com/watch/?v=… . The video must be public.
Ratios
For a typical page video, reactions are often 1–4% of views and comments fewer. If you order a large number of views, add some post reactions so the video doesn't look watched but unloved.
When to order
In the first few hours after posting, when Facebook decides whether to push the video beyond your followers. Views on older videos help the Videos tab of your page look healthy.
Placing the order
Paste the public video link, choose a quantity between 1 and 2,00,00,00,000, and pay. On the default option, 10,000 views take about about 5 hours. Don't change the video's privacy during delivery.
Paying and tracking
Top up by UPI from ₹100. The order page shows the starting count and progress. Undelivered views are refunded to your wallet automatically.
Example: a Ahmedabad property walkthrough
An Ahmedabad builder uploads a 4-minute walkthrough of a new 3BHK project in Gujarati and Hindi. The marketing team orders 8,000 video views and 200 reactions in the first day. When the sales team shares the video link with enquiries on WhatsApp, buyers see a project video that many people have watched.
Making long videos work on Facebook
Facebook viewers decide in the first three seconds whether to keep watching, often with the sound off. Start with the most interesting moment, add burned-in subtitles, and put a clear title in the post text. Square or vertical videos take more screen space in the mobile feed than horizontal ones. For long videos, add chapters in the description or pin a comment with key timestamps so viewers can jump to what they need.
Sharing into groups
Facebook groups are where many Indian videos actually travel: city groups, community groups, hobby groups and alumni groups. Share your video into relevant groups that allow it, with a short note on why it's useful to that group. A video with a healthy view count gets more clicks when it appears in a group, and real views from groups often far exceed paid ones.
