Starting a subreddit from nothing
Every new subreddit begins with one member: the person who made it. Redditors deciding whether to join look at the member count in the sidebar, the number of recent posts and whether anyone comments. A community with 3 members and two posts feels like a ghost town, even if the topic is great.
Indian communities are a good example. Subreddits for a city, a college, an exam like UPSC or GATE, a regional language or a niche hobby often start small and grow slowly, because people don't want to be the first to post.
What a member order does
The order adds members who join your subreddit from Reddit accounts over a few hours to a couple of days. The member count in the sidebar rises. These members won't post, comment or vote on your community's posts, and some will leave or be removed over time.
The subreddit must be public. Restricted or private communities can't receive members this way.
Reddit's rules, plainly
Reddit's content policy prohibits vote manipulation and the use of fake or automated accounts to inflate activity. Joining a subreddit isn't a vote, so a member order carries less risk than buying upvotes, but Reddit's safety team does remove suspicious accounts, and communities that look artificially grown can be reviewed.
Never combine a member order with bought upvotes on the same subreddit. That pattern is what Reddit's systems look for, and it can lead to moderators being suspended and the community being banned.
Members only help an active community
A member number makes a subreddit look worth joining, but people stay because of what's posted. Before ordering, write a clear sidebar description, set rules, add post flairs and post five to ten useful threads yourself: guides, questions, resources, weekly discussion threads.
Then share the subreddit where your audience already is. Post a link in related, larger subreddits where self-promotion is allowed, on your Instagram or X, in WhatsApp and Telegram groups and in Discord servers on the same topic.
How many members to order
For a brand-new subreddit, 100 to 300 members is enough to stop it looking empty. Ordering 10,000 members for a community with three posts a month looks odd to anyone who visits, and active users on Reddit notice inactive communities with large numbers.
Grow the order in steps as your real posting picks up.
Example
A group of students in Kota starts a subreddit to share JEE preparation notes and doubt threads. After a week, it has 14 members. They write rules, pin a weekly doubt thread and a resource list, then order 200 members and share the subreddit in two large Indian student Discord servers.
New students find a community that looks alive and has useful pinned posts. Real members start asking questions, and within a month the community has more real members than the order brought.
Moderation matters
Reddit relies on volunteer moderators. Set up AutoModerator with basic rules to remove spam, require accounts to have some karma before posting if spam is a problem, and reply to new members' posts quickly. A well-moderated community grows; one full of spam loses its real members.
Add a couple of trusted moderators as the community grows, so it doesn't depend on one person.
What members won't do
They won't post, comment, upvote or bring their friends. They won't make the subreddit appear higher in Reddit's search or recommendations by themselves. Some will leave or be removed, and the count can fall over time.
Use them to get past the empty-room problem in the first weeks, then let real content do the rest.
Getting the link right
Paste the subreddit link in the form reddit.com/r/yourcommunity. Check the spelling carefully; subreddit names are easy to mistype and orders can't be moved after they start. The community must be public.
If you've just created the subreddit, wait until it has at least a description and a few posts before ordering.
Privacy
We never ask for your Reddit login or moderator access. Only the public subreddit link is used, and we never post, comment or message on your behalf.
Your members and visitors won't see that you placed an order.
Payment and refunds
Top up your wallet by UPI from ₹100 and pay for the order from the wallet. If the order is only partly delivered, the undelivered part is refunded to your wallet automatically.
Wallet money can be used on any other Reachwala service.
When not to order
Don't order for a subreddit that is part of a brand's paid campaign on Reddit, a community you've been warned about by Reddit, or a community where you're also running giveaways tied to joining. Don't order to make a community look bigger in a dispute with another subreddit; that tends to end with both communities reviewed.
If in doubt, grow it slowly with real posts. On Reddit, patience works better than anywhere else.
