Why public is required
On a private account, every follow becomes a follow request that you must approve, and posts can't be seen or liked by accounts that don't follow you. Delivery systems can't approve their own requests, so orders stall. Public accounts let follows and likes land immediately.
How to switch
In the Instagram app, go to Settings and privacy, then Account privacy, and turn off Private account. Business and creator accounts are always public. Switch before you place the order, not after.
During delivery
Keep the account public, don't change your username and don't archive or delete the post you ordered for. Any of these can stop delivery partway. If that happens, the order ends partial and the remainder returns to your wallet.
Switching back to private
Once an order completes, you can make the account private again. Followers who were delivered stay. But refills need a public account, so if you chose a refill option, keep the account public during the refill window or accept that refills may not work.
Pending follow requests
If you placed an order while private and see a pile of follow requests, approving them by hand won't reliably complete the order. It's better to switch to public; the service will carry on if the order is still running.
Privacy considerations
If you keep a personal account private for safety, consider whether a starting push is worth making it public. Many people use a separate public creator or business account for growth and keep their personal account private.
Example
A Chandigarh makeup artist orders followers while her account is private. Delivery stalls at 120 of 1,000. She switches to public and the order completes within a day. Reachwala's services start from ₹1, with UPI top-ups from ₹100.
