Saves, repins: the same thing
Pinterest used to call it a repin; now the button says Save. When someone saves your pin, it's added to one of their boards, and the save count on the pin goes up. People browsing see the number and take it as proof others found the idea worth keeping.
Why 100 on a new pin
A fresh pin starts at zero. For a product photo, a recipe or a design idea you've just pinned, 100 saves makes it look like it has already been picked up, which helps when you share the pin link elsewhere or link to it from your site.
Pick the right pin
Order on a pin you're proud of: a tall 2:3 image, clear text overlay if needed, a keyword-rich title and description, and a working link. Saves on a weak pin won't make it perform.

A Kolkata jewellery maker pins a new terracotta necklace set with the price in the description and a link to her Instagram shop. She orders 100 saves the same day, then shares the pin in two WhatsApp groups for handmade jewellery buyers. Real saves follow from people who like the design.
How saves are delivered
Saves are added from Pinterest accounts to their boards, gradually, starting within minutes to a few hours. The pin must be public and the link correct.
Will Pinterest rank it higher?
Saves are one of many signals Pinterest uses, alongside image quality, keywords, the domain's reputation and how real users engage. Bought saves won't guarantee better ranking, and Pinterest discounts activity it thinks is fake.
What 100 saves won't do
They won't add outbound clicks, followers or sales. They make one pin look saved and trusted.
Pinterest's rules
Pinterest prohibits fake engagement and removes spam accounts, along with their saves. Expect some drop over time, especially on non-refill options.
Getting the link right
Open the pin and copy its address, in the form pinterest.com/pin/123456789. Don't paste a board or profile link. Short pin.it links usually work too.
Privacy
We never ask for your Pinterest login. Only the public pin link is used.
