Live viewers are different from views
A live stream shows how many people are watching right now. People who drop into a stream with 4 viewers often leave within seconds, assuming nothing's happening; at 120 watching, they stay to find out. Live stream view options add viewers for a set time while you're live, from India on this page, so the live count and your stream's audience report both match an Indian broadcast.
Who goes live with an Indian audience
Temples streaming aarti and festival rituals for devotees in other cities and abroad. Sellers doing live sales of sarees, jewellery or handicrafts. Coaching institutes holding live doubt-clearing sessions. Wedding families streaming ceremonies for relatives. Political rallies and community meetings. In each case, the people chatting are Indian, and the viewer mix should look the same.
Choose the duration
Options list how long viewers stay, such as 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Pick one that covers your planned stream. Viewing stops when the duration ends or when your stream ends, whichever comes first.
When to order
After the stream has started and the live video link works. Live views can't be scheduled before you go live. Use the link of the live video post, from Share or the address bar.
How many viewers
Two to five times your usual concurrent viewers is a strong stream. If your live sales usually have 25 watching, 75–125 viewers look like a good night. Thousands on a small Page look like something else.
Example
A Surat saree seller goes live on Facebook every Sunday evening to show new stock, taking orders in the comments. Streams usually held 30–40 viewers. She started adding 100 Indian live viewers for 90 minutes each Sunday. New viewers who joined saw a busy stream, stayed longer, and asked about designs in Gujarati and Hindi in the comments; her Sunday orders roughly doubled over two months.
Keep the comments busy
Purchased viewers don't comment. Greet real viewers by name, ask which design they want to see next, read out questions and pin a comment with how to order. A lively comment section is what keeps real people watching and buying.
After the stream
When the stream ends, Facebook saves it as a video. To add views to the recording, order regular or Indian video views on the saved video's link.
Stream settings
Go live on your Page publicly, not to friends only or inside a private group. Check your internet connection is stable; viewers stop if the stream cuts out.
What live viewers won't do
They won't place orders or donate. They make the stream look worth staying in, which is when your real viewers engage.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from your wallet. If the stream ends early or the link stops working, undelivered viewing is refunded to your wallet automatically.
