Why comments matter on YouTube
Comments are where viewers decide whether a video is worth their time. Many people scroll to the comments before watching a tutorial, to check whether it worked for others. An empty comment section on a video with thousands of views feels odd. Comments also tell YouTube that viewers engaged, and creators who reply build the kind of community that brings viewers back.
Custom comments: write them well
Custom comments are the better choice for most videos. Write them as different viewers would: a timestamp question (“At 4:12, which setting did you use?”), a request for a follow-up video, a short reaction to a specific moment, a question about a product shown. Mix English with Hinglish or your video's language. Avoid generic praise, links, hashtags and fake success stories; don't write comments claiming results that a product or course didn't deliver.
Prices
On the default option, 10 comments cost ₹10, 25 cost ₹13.73 and 50 cost ₹27.45. Custom options price per comment line. The table lists all options with start times and limits, updated 24 Oct 2026.
How many comments look natural
A few comments per thousand views is typical on Indian channels; tutorials and controversial topics get more. A video with 5,000 views looks right with 10–25 comments. Ordering 200 comments on a 1,000-view video looks staged.
Reply to every comment
Your replies matter as much as the comments. Answer timestamp questions with real detail, thank people briefly and heart good comments. Pin the most useful comment, perhaps one asking a common question with your answer, so viewers see it first.
Comments held for review
YouTube sometimes holds comments for review, especially on new channels or videos with strict moderation settings. Check YouTube Studio → Comments → Held for review during delivery and approve the ones you ordered. Settings that block links or certain words can also hold comments.
Placing the order
Keep the video public and comments enabled. Videos marked as made for kids have comments disabled and can't receive them. Paste the link, add your comments one per line for custom options, and pay. Comments arrive over minutes to hours.
Paying and tracking
Top up by UPI from any app. The order page tracks delivered comments. If some can't be posted, the undelivered comments are refunded to your wallet automatically.
Example: a Kannada cooking channel
A home cook in Mysuru uploads a 12-minute bisi bele bath recipe. She orders 12 custom comments: “Which brand of sambar powder?”, “Can I use brown rice?”, “Amma style taste!” and a few timestamp questions. She answers each, pins the sambar powder answer, and real viewers start asking their own questions underneath.
Comments for product and course videos
If you sell a product or course through YouTube, comments asking practical questions help buyers more than praise does. Questions about price, delivery, sizes, batch dates, language of instruction or refund terms let you post clear answers that real buyers read. Keep answers accurate and current; if the price changes, update your pinned reply. Never seed comments claiming results like marks, earnings or health outcomes, because that misleads people.
