Likes on Shorts are more visible than you think
In the Shorts player the like count sits on the right side of the screen, next to comments and shares, on every swipe. Viewers see it before they decide whether to keep watching or swipe on. A Short with 20,000 views and 40 likes looks like people didn't enjoy it, even if the view count is high.
Prices
On the default option, 100 Shorts likes cost the live price, 500 cost the live price and 1,000 cost the live price. The table lists start times, speeds and refill periods, updated 25 Oct 2026.
Ratios for Shorts
Shorts usually earn fewer likes per view than long videos, often 2–4 per 100 views, with funny and emotional Shorts going higher. A Short with 10,000 views looks natural with 200–400 likes. Order likes alongside Shorts views so the two stay in line.
When to order
Within the first hour after upload, while YouTube tests the Short in the feed. Likes in that window improve the impression the Short makes on the real viewers YouTube is testing it with.
Content that earns real likes
A clear payoff: the transformation, the punchline or the reveal. A loop that makes people rewatch. Text on screen so muted viewers understand. A relatable moment specific to your audience: Indian parents, hostel life, office chai, exam season. Real likes follow content that gives viewers a reason.
Links that work
Use the youtube.com/shorts/… link from the Share button. The Short must be public. Regular watch links are for long-video likes; use the Shorts link here.
Placing the order
Paste the Shorts link, choose a quantity between a small and a large, and pay from your wallet or by UPI. The order page shows the starting like count and progress.
Drops
Likes drop less than subscribers, but likes from closed accounts can disappear. Options with refill list the period on the card.
Paying and tracking
Top up by UPI from ₹100. Shorts likes usually finish quickly, and any shortfall is refunded to your wallet automatically.
Example: a Chennai comedy duo
Two friends in Chennai post Tamil comedy Shorts about IT office life. Each Short gets 4,000 views and 140 likes ordered in the first 20 minutes. When one Short about appraisal season starts travelling in the feed, the healthy like count encourages real viewers to like and share it too, and it passes 300,000 views by the weekend.
Shorts likes for brands
Indian brands increasingly cut their Instagram Reels into YouTube Shorts as well. Shorts audiences skew younger and are less likely to tap like, so a brand's Shorts can look under-loved next to the same Reel on Instagram. Adding likes keeps the two platforms consistent, which matters when a marketing team reports results side by side. Use the same caption hook on both, and test whether the Shorts version needs a faster opening, because the Shorts feed is quicker to swipe.
Likes plus comments on Shorts
Comments on Shorts are visible in the side panel, and a Short with likes but zero comments can look odd at higher view counts. A few custom comments, such as a question about the product, a quote from the punchline or a tag of a friend, round out the picture. Keep them short; Shorts comments usually are.
