Threads in India
Threads launched in 2023 and gained millions of Indian users quickly, helped by its link to Instagram. It's used for opinions, short updates, questions and conversations, by creators, journalists, founders, comedians and brands. Engagement can be high for accounts that reply and post consistently.
Services available
Followers to close the gap with your Instagram, likes on posts that start conversations, reposts to put your best posts on more profiles, and views. US-targeted followers suit accounts with an American audience.
Threads and Instagram
Every Threads profile is tied to an Instagram account, but follower counts are separate. Threads orders appear on Threads only. Your Threads profile must be public, even if your Instagram is private.
Why the gap matters
Many creators have far fewer followers on Threads than on Instagram. A visitor who finds you through a Threads reply sees a small profile and doesn't realise who you are. A modest follower order helps close that gap.
What Threads rewards
Threads' feed favours conversations: posts that get replies and the author's replies back. Questions, opinions and short personal stories outperform links. Reply to bigger accounts in your niche, and reply to everyone who replies to you.
Keep it proportionate
Don't make Threads look bigger than your Instagram, and keep followers in line with your likes and replies.
Example: a Hyderabad comedian
A Hyderabad stand-up comedian has 25,000 Instagram followers and 900 on Threads. She orders 2,000 Threads followers and posts two short jokes a day, replying to every comment. A thread about Hyderabad traffic gets reposted widely, and her real Threads following passes 10,000, with fans asking about her next show.
Threads' rules
Threads follows Instagram's Community Guidelines, which prohibit fake engagement. Meta removes fake accounts, so keep orders modest.

Getting started
Top up ₹100 by UPI and try a small follower order on your Threads profile.
What to post on Threads
Post things you'd say rather than things you'd film: a quick opinion on news in your field, a lesson from your week, a question to your audience, a behind-the-scenes thought. Short posts with a clear point invite replies. Photos and short videos work too, but conversation is what Threads spreads.
Likes and reposts in proportion
Add likes to posts that are already starting conversations, and a few reposts to your very best ones. A post with 400 likes and no replies looks odd on Threads, where replies are the main sign of a good post. Reply to real comments quickly to keep the conversation going.
Brands on Threads
Brands increasingly ask creators for Threads posts as part of campaigns, especially for launches and announcements. Share real Threads numbers with them, and label paid posts under ASCI's guidelines, just as on Instagram.
Consistency over volume
One or two posts a day and ten minutes of replying will grow a Threads profile faster than ten posts with no replies. Set a routine and stick to it for a month before judging results.
