What monetisation needs
To join the YouTube Partner Program for ad revenue in India, a channel needs 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 public watch hours in the past 12 months or 10 million valid Shorts views in the past 90 days. A lower tier for fan funding features needs fewer. After you apply, YouTube reviews the channel against its monetisation policies.
Why bought watch time fails
YouTube's review looks at more than numbers: traffic sources, how viewers behave, whether content is original, and whether the channel follows its policies. Watch time from bought views often shows unusual sources and viewing patterns. YouTube can remove the hours, reject the application and make you wait before reapplying. Many Indian creators have lost months this way.
What a panel can safely help with
Subscribers delivered gradually, so a new channel doesn't look abandoned. Shorts views on clips that point to your long videos. A few custom comments with real questions. None of these count as watch hours, and none should be relied on to qualify.
Building real watch hours
Make longer videos people want to watch to the end: tutorials, full recipes, chapter lectures, gameplay, podcasts. Use playlists and end screens so viewers watch several videos in a row. Stream live regularly, because public live streams count. Use Shorts to bring new viewers to long videos.
Shorts route
The 10 million Shorts views route suits creators whose Shorts go viral. Bought Shorts views don't count as valid views and can trigger the same review problems.
After monetisation
Once monetised, keep bought views off monetised videos entirely. YouTube can withhold earnings for invalid traffic and disable monetisation.
Example: a Hindi cooking channel
A Bhopal home cook's channel is at 850 subscribers and 2,600 watch hours. Instead of buying hours, she uploads a 25-minute 'full thali' video each week, adds every recipe to a playlist, and posts two Shorts a week linking to the full videos, with Shorts views on the best one. Three months later she passes 4,000 real hours, applies and is approved.
Original content
Re-uploaded clips, compilations of other people's videos and AI voice-overs on stock footage are often rejected for reused content. Original content is the most important part of the review.
Sellers who promise monetisation
Anyone who guarantees monetisation for a fee, or asks for your Google login to 'complete hours', is either selling artificial traffic or trying to steal your channel. Avoid them.
YouTube's rules
YouTube's fake engagement policy prohibits artificial views, watch time and subscribers. Keep any orders small, gradual and away from watch time.
Prices
Subscribers and Shorts views are priced in rupees; the YouTube price list shows current prices.
Privacy
We never ask for your Google or YouTube login.
Reapplying after rejection
If you've been rejected, YouTube tells you the reason in YouTube Studio. Fix the issue, usually reused content or invalid traffic, keep uploading original videos, and reapply after the waiting period.
Our recommendation
Treat monetisation as the result of real viewers, not a number to buy. Use the panel to look established; use content to qualify.
Getting started
If your channel looks empty, top up ₹100 by UPI and order a small number of gradual subscribers.
