Who 250 fits
A home baker, a yoga teacher, a small boutique or a local food blogger with 2,000–8,000 Instagram followers. Their Threads profile looks natural at a few hundred followers: smaller than Instagram, as it is for most accounts, but clearly active. 250 gets them there without looking out of proportion.
Keep Threads in proportion
For most Indian accounts, Threads followers are a fraction of Instagram followers. A Threads count far above your Instagram looks odd, especially since Threads shows your linked Instagram account.
Delivery
Followers arrive gradually over a day or two. A steady climb is safer for linked accounts than a sudden jump.
Post like Threads expects
Short posts, questions, quick updates and replies work best. Copy-pasted Instagram captions tend to get less response. Post a few times a week and reply to everyone who responds.
Example
A Kochi yoga instructor with 5,000 Instagram followers began posting one-line breathing tips and class reminders on Threads. Her profile had 60 followers. She ordered 250 followers and shared a tip each morning, cross-posting the best to her Instagram Story. Students who already followed her on Instagram followed on Threads too, and several asked about online classes in the replies.
Pair with likes
Add a few likes to your first posts so new visitors see engagement, not just a follower count.
Getting the link
Copy your profile link from Threads (threads.net/@yourhandle). Keep the profile public and your Instagram username unchanged during delivery.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from any app with nothing added at checkout. Undelivered followers are refunded automatically.
What 250 followers won't do
They won't reply to your posts or bring customers. They make the profile look like a real part of your presence, so the people who matter, your customers and Instagram followers, take the trouble to follow it. Real followers who arrive that way are the ones who reply, ask questions and buy.
Grow it from Instagram
Add the Threads badge to your Instagram profile, share your best threads to your Story, and mention Threads in captions when you post there something you've discussed in more depth. Most small accounts get the majority of their Threads followers from their own Instagram audience.
