Why influencers use Threads
Threads, Meta's text-first app, is linked to Instagram, so creators can bring their audience over with a tap. It's useful for things that don't fit Reels: opinions, quick updates, polls, questions, behind-the-scenes thoughts and replies to fans. Brands increasingly look at Threads too, as part of a creator's overall presence.
The gap problem
Many creators have 50,000 Instagram followers and 2,000 on Threads, because only some followers made the jump. A visitor who finds you through a Threads reply sees a small profile and doesn't realise who you are. A follower order helps close that gap.
What we'd order
1. Threads followers, gradually, so the profile reflects your real standing.
2. Likes on posts that start conversations.
3. Reposts on your best posts, sparingly.
4. Nothing that makes Threads look bigger than your Instagram.
Threads grows through replies
Threads' feed favours conversations. Reply to your fans, reply thoughtfully to bigger creators and brands in your niche, ask questions people want to answer and post every day. Replies under a popular post often bring more followers than your own posts.
Cross-post from Instagram
Share Threads posts to your Instagram stories, and mention Threads in Reels captions. Your Instagram audience is the quickest source of real Threads followers.
Example: a Mumbai fitness creator
A Mumbai fitness creator has 60,000 Instagram followers and 1,400 on Threads. She orders 3,000 Threads followers over two weeks, then posts a daily workout tip and replies to every question. A thread about protein myths for vegetarians gets reposted widely, and her real Threads following passes 12,000 in a month.
Brands and Threads
Brands increasingly include Threads posts in campaigns. Report real Threads numbers, and label paid posts according to ASCI's rules.
Threads' rules
Threads follows Instagram's Community Guidelines, which prohibit fake engagement. Meta removes fake accounts, so keep orders modest.
Budget
A few hundred rupees on followers is enough for most creators. Top up by UPI; undelivered quantity is refunded automatically.
Edit your Threads bio
Threads lets you edit your bio separately from Instagram. Say what you post about on Threads, link your newest content and pin your best thread.
Read what works
Look at which posts get replies and reposts. Questions, hot takes and personal stories usually outperform links.
Privacy
We never ask for your Instagram or Threads password. Only your public Threads profile link is used.
What to post on Threads
Threads rewards things you'd say rather than things you'd film. Share a quick opinion on a trend in your niche, a lesson from a recent shoot, a question for your audience, or the story behind a popular Reel. Short posts with a clear point and an invitation to reply work best. Photos and short videos are fine too, but the conversation is what spreads.
Polls and questions
Ask your followers to vote on your next video idea, the product you should review, or the city you should visit. Polls and questions get replies quickly, and Threads shows posts with active replies to more people. You also learn what your audience actually wants from you.
Consistency over volume
One or two thoughtful posts a day and ten minutes of replies will grow a Threads profile faster than ten posts with no replies. Set a routine, such as replying to comments every evening, and stick to it for a month before judging results.
Keep numbers believable
After an order, check that your Threads likes and replies still look reasonable next to the follower count. If posts get very little engagement, focus on conversations before adding more followers.
