Live viewers work differently
A live stream shows how many people are watching right now, not a running total. People who arrive at a stream with 3 watching often leave within seconds; at 150 watching, they stay to see what's happening. Live stream view options add viewers for a set time while you're live, from India on this page, so the concurrent count and Studio's live geography both look right for an Indian stream.
Who goes live with Indian viewers
Bhajan and kirtan streams from temples, cricket watch-along channels, exam-preparation live classes, regional gaming streamers, product launches by Indian brands, and political or community events. In each case, the people chatting are Indian, and the viewer mix should match.
Choose the duration
Options list how long viewers stay, for example 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Pick one that covers your planned stream. Viewers stop when the duration ends or when the stream ends, whichever comes first.
When to order
After the stream is live and the link works. Live views can't be scheduled before the stream starts. Paste the youtube.com/live/… or watch?v= link of the live video.
Size it right
Two to five times your usual concurrent viewers is a strong stream. If your streams usually have 30 watching, 100–150 viewers look like a good night; 5,000 look like something else.
Example
A Pune temple trust streams its Ganeshotsav aarti every evening for devotees in other cities and abroad. Streams usually held 40 concurrent viewers. During the festival's main days it added 200 Indian live viewers for 60 minutes each evening. Devotees joining saw a lively stream, the chat filled with greetings in Marathi and Hindi, and donations through the trust's site rose during the streams.
Keep the chat alive
Purchased viewers don't chat. Greet real viewers by name, ask questions and pin a comment with what's coming up. A busy chat keeps real people watching.
After the stream
When the stream ends, the saved video shows total views. To add views to the replay, use regular views or Indian views on the saved video link.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from your wallet. If the stream ends early or the link stops working, undelivered viewing is refunded to your wallet automatically.
Live classes and coaching
Coaching channels running live doubt-solving sessions often see students leave a stream that looks empty, assuming the teacher will end early. A steady concurrent count keeps them in the session long enough to ask their question, which is when real engagement starts and when students decide to join the paid batch.
Check the stream settings
Make the stream public, not unlisted, if you want new viewers to find it. Turn on live chat and slow mode if your chat gets busy. Live viewers can't be delivered to streams set as made for kids, because those streams have restricted features.
