What monthly listeners are
Spotify shows “X monthly listeners” under every artist name. It counts unique people who played your music in the last 28 days. It's the number most people quote when they talk about an artist's size on Spotify, and the one bookers and brands check first.
It isn't permanent
Because the window is 28 days, monthly listeners fall again once the delivered listening ends. A 1,000-listener pack raises the number for roughly a month. Time it for when it matters: a release week, a festival application, a pitch to a label or a brand campaign.
Right size
1,000 monthly listeners suit an artist page with a few hundred followers and tracks with visible play counts. If your page shows 15 followers and no counts, 1,000 listeners look odd; add followers and plays first.
Delivery
Listeners arrive over about about 8 hours on the default option. Spotify updates the monthly listeners number with a delay of a day or two.
Example
A Kochi Malayalam singer-songwriter is applying to play an indie music festival in Bengaluru, and the application asks for Spotify monthly listeners. Her real number is 420. She orders 1,000 monthly listeners two weeks before the deadline and shares her newest song in college groups. Her page shows about 1,400, and she gives the festival her real ticketed-show numbers alongside it.
Getting the link
Open your artist profile in Spotify, tap the three dots, then Share → Copy link to artist. It looks like open.spotify.com/artist/…
Risk and honesty
Monthly listeners are delivered through listening activity, so the same distributor and Spotify rules about artificial streams apply. Keep numbers proportionate. When someone asks for your stats for a booking or deal, give them context.
Refunds and payment
Top up by UPI; the price shown is final. If fewer listeners are delivered, the difference is refunded to your wallet automatically.
Monthly listeners versus followers
Followers stay until someone unfollows; monthly listeners reset every 28 days. If you want a lasting number on your page, order followers. If you need the headline number high for a specific date, monthly listeners are the right service. Many artists add both: a steady follower base and a monthly-listener boost timed for release weeks.
