What the cheap option gives you
Cheap monthly listener options use simpler accounts and listening patterns to add unique listeners across your tracks. The artist page number rises for about four weeks, then falls as those listeners drop out of Spotify's 28-day window. They cost less than higher-tier options, and they're more likely to be caught by Spotify's artificial-streaming detection.
The risks are higher here
Spotify can remove artificial listening, withhold royalties, and charge your distributor when it detects significant artificial streaming. Cheap listener services are the most exposed to that detection. If your release is with a distributor whose terms say they'll remove music for artificial streaming, a cheap order could cost you far more than it saves. For a main project, we'd steer you to higher tiers or real promotion instead.
Prices
Cheap listener options start from ₹699. On Starter, 1,000 listeners cost ₹699 where Starter is available; the default option is ₹699. Compare tiers in the table, updated 24 Oct 2026.
When a cheap option is reasonable
A side project or alias you're experimenting with. A short-term need where the number only has to look reasonable for a few weeks and the release isn't critical to your career. Testing what Spotify for Artists shows before deciding whether to promote a release properly.
Expect the number to fall
Monthly listeners from any order disappear from the count about 28 days after they last played. With cheap listeners, some won't be counted at all. Don't quote the peak number in long-term materials such as press kits or pitch decks as if it were stable.
Getting the right link
Artist-level options need your artist link (open.spotify.com/artist/…); track-based options need a track link. The option card says which.
Placing the order
Paste the link, choose a quantity between 1,000 and 50,00,000, and pay. The artist page updates with a delay of a day or two.
Better uses of a small budget
₹200–500 spent on a well-targeted Instagram or YouTube ad for your hook clip can bring real Indian listeners in your genre who save the song. Real saves feed Spotify's algorithm, and those listeners may come back for your next release. That compounding effect is something no listener order can give you.
Paying and tracking
Top up by UPI from ₹100. The order page shows delivery progress. Undelivered listeners are refunded to your wallet automatically, and the price shown is all you pay.
Example: testing an alias
A Kolkata music producer releases ambient tracks under a separate alias to test a new sound. He orders a small cheap listener package on the alias only, watches how the Spotify for Artists data looks, and decides the alias needs real playlist pitching rather than more paid listeners. His main artist name stays untouched.
How detection usually shows up
Artists who get caught by Spotify's artificial-streaming checks typically notice streams disappearing from Spotify for Artists, a warning email from their distributor, or a release being taken down. Distributors often act on the whole account, not just one track. If you get a warning, stop all paid listening on that account immediately and reply to your distributor honestly; repeat issues are treated more strictly.
