Who 5,000 members fit
City buy-and-sell, rental and jobs groups with daily posts; regional community groups; course and exam communities; and brand communities with an active admin team. In most Indian cities, people join the biggest group for a topic, so a larger count draws more of the listings and questions that make a group useful. A group with no posts looks odd at 5,000; build activity first.
Settings
Keep the group visible and use its facebook.com/groups/… link. Turn off admin approval and membership questions until delivery finishes. Don't change the group's URL during delivery.
Delivery pace
On the default option, 5,000 members arrive over about about 12 hours. A steady climb looks like the group being shared around the city.
Quality and the members list
Anyone can browse a group's members. At this size, better-quality or Indian options look more natural than the cheapest, especially in local groups where people recognise names.
Moderation at scale
Bigger groups attract spam and scams. Set clear rules, add trusted moderators, turn on keyword alerts for scam terms and require post approval for new members' first posts.
Example
A Coimbatore admin ran a jobs group with 1,800 real members and daily postings from local companies, competing with a 25,000-member group full of spam. She ordered 5,000 Indian-weighted members over two weeks, kept strict moderation and posted a weekly digest of verified openings. Employers began posting in her group first because it looked large and was easier to use.
Honesty with advertisers
If you sell promoted posts in the group, price them on real responses, not member count. Businesses return when their posts get real replies.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from any app. Undelivered members are refunded automatically; drops within your option's refill period are topped up free from the order page.
Structure helps a large group
Use Facebook's group tools: topics or guides for common subjects, a pinned post with rules and how to post, and units if the group teaches something. Members find what they need faster, real activity grows, and the group earns the size it shows. Ask a few long-standing members to become moderators, because a large group with absent admins quickly fills with spam and loses the real members you attracted.
