The honest answer
A real stream is someone pressing play because they want to hear your song. Sellers who promise “100% real plays from real fans” are using the word to mean plays that look natural: varied accounts, varied devices and locations, realistic listening length. That's a real quality difference, and it reduces the chance of being filtered, but it doesn't remove it. Spotify's systems are built to detect exactly this kind of promotion.
Risks, plainly
Spotify can remove artificial plays, withhold royalties, and charge labels and distributors when it detects significant artificial streaming. Distributors may remove releases or close accounts. Higher-quality plays lower the risk; they don't eliminate it. Modest, gradual orders on one track are the safest way to use any play service.
Prices
On the default option, 1,000 higher-quality plays cost ₹199; Premium, where listed, is ₹199. See the table for speed and details, updated 24 Oct 2026.
What makes plays look natural
Listening for well over 30 seconds, since Spotify counts a stream after 30 seconds. Gradual delivery over days. Plays spread across countries that make sense for your music. Some saves and playlist adds alongside. Options that describe these behaviours cost more than plain plays.
Where real plays actually come from
Spotify's editorial and algorithmic playlists, such as Release Radar, Discover Weekly and Radio, are the biggest sources for independent artists. They respond to saves, repeat listens and listeners who come from outside Spotify. Pitch every release through Spotify for Artists before it's out. Drive fans from Instagram and YouTube with short clips. Ask them to save the song, not just play it.
Getting the right link
Share → Copy Song Link from the track: open.spotify.com/track/… . The track must be live.
Placing the order
Paste the link, choose a quantity between 1,000 and 10,00,000, and pay. On the default option, 1,000 plays take about about 2 days. Spotify updates public counts with a delay.
Paying and tracking
Top up by UPI from any app. The order page shows progress. Undelivered plays are refunded to your wallet automatically.
Example: a Mizo indie band
An indie rock band from Aizawl releases its first English single. The track has 600 streams, mostly from Mizoram. The band orders 2,000 higher-quality plays over two weeks, plays the song at a college fest in Shillong, and posts a live clip on Instagram with a Spotify link. Bookers in the North-East circuit see a track with real momentum, and the band gets two more gig invitations.
Questions to ask any seller
How long does each play last? Over what period are plays delivered? Which countries do they appear from? Is a shortfall refunded? What happens if Spotify removes plays? If a seller won't answer, or promises plays are “undetectable”, walk away. Nobody can promise that, and the people who claim to usually have the most detectable services.
Saves and playlist adds matter more
Spotify's recommendation systems lean heavily on saves, playlist adds and repeat listens. A track with 2,000 plays and 150 saves sends a stronger signal than one with 20,000 plays and 10 saves. If you promote a track, ask real fans to save it and add it to their playlists. See our Spotify saves page for how saves work.
