The view counter on X
X shows a view count, an eye or bar-chart icon, on every post. It counts how many times the post was displayed. Readers use it to judge reach: a post with 180 views looks like it went nowhere, while one with 25,000 looks like part of the conversation. Views are also the cheapest X service and look natural in large numbers, because real views far outnumber likes.
Prices
On the default option, 1,000 views cost ₹10, 10,000 cost ₹10 and 50,000 cost ₹45, about ₹0.01 per view. Video view options, where listed, count plays of a video in the post. See the table, updated 24 Oct 2026.
Views and the other numbers
Views without likes look odd at scale. On X, likes are often 0.5–3% of views. If you order 20,000 views, a post with 4 likes looks bought; 100–400 likes looks natural. Add likes and a few reposts alongside big view orders.
Monetisation on X
X's creator revenue sharing is based on engagement from verified (Premium) users, with eligibility rules X reviews. Paid views raise the visible count but don't count as Premium engagement and won't earn payouts.
When to order
Right after posting, while the post is fresh. Views on old posts help your profile look active to visitors scrolling your timeline.
Getting the right link
Share → Copy link on the post: x.com/handle/status/… . The account must be public. For a video, use the post link that contains the video.
Placing the order
Paste the link, choose a quantity between 100 and 21,75,45,811, and pay. On the default option, 10,000 views take about 1–5 days.
Posts that get real views
Posts that join a live conversation early, such as match moments, results, breaking news or Budget announcements, travel fastest. Images, charts and short videos get more views than plain text. Quote-posting a popular post with a sharp, specific point puts you in front of its audience.
Paying and tracking
Top up by UPI from any app. Views usually finish quickly. Anything not delivered is refunded to your wallet automatically.
Example: a Mumbai food critic
A Mumbai food writer posts a short video review of a new vada pav spot in Dadar. She orders 8,000 video views and 120 likes in the first 20 minutes. When food accounts quote her post, their followers see a review with healthy numbers and click through, and the stall gets a weekend queue.
Views on threads
On a thread, the first post usually collects far more views than the rest, because most readers see it in their feed and only some tap through. That's normal, and it's how real threads look. Put your view order on the first post. If you want the later posts to show some readership too, add a smaller order to the second or third post, keeping each well below the first. A thread where every post has identical views looks automated, not read.
Views for brands and campaigns
Brands running campaigns on X, such as launches, hashtag contests or live-event coverage, often report impressions and views to clients. Paid views raise those numbers, but clients increasingly look at engagement rate and link clicks. Use views to make sure a campaign post doesn't look ignored, and report engagement honestly alongside them. For real reach, X's own promoted posts let you target Indian audiences by interest and location.
