Why 1,000 is the number everyone searches
1,000 subscribers is the subscriber threshold for YouTube's ad-revenue Partner Programme in India. But it's only one of the requirements: you also need 4,000 public watch hours in a year or 10 million Shorts views in 90 days, and YouTube reviews the channel for original content and genuine audiences. Channels that buy their way to 1,000 often get rejected at review. If monetisation is your goal, put money into content first.
When 1,000 subscribers make sense
For business channels such as coaching, real estate, clinics, studios and product brands, where the count is about credibility, not ad revenue. For a creator's brand-new channel, to get past the stage where 14 subscribers makes viewers assume it's abandoned. In both cases, gradual delivery and a refill period matter more than speed.
Cost per subscriber
On the default option, about ₹0.01 per subscriber. That's more than Instagram followers because YouTube audits subscribers and removes spam accounts. Stable and Premium cost more but hold better.
How long 1,000 takes
About about 5 hours on the default option, starting within 0-15 min. YouTube's public count may lag and round (1.02K), so check YouTube Studio for the exact number.
Example
A Kochi dance academy's channel has 180 subscribers. It orders 1,000 on a Stable option delivered over about ten days, before launching paid online classes. A small audit drop is refilled from the order page, and students who check the channel before enrolling see an academy with an established following.
Paying and refunds
Top up by UPI and paste your channel link with the subscriber count visible. Undelivered subscribers are refunded to your wallet automatically; drops within the refill period are topped up free.
Pair with views
1,000 subscribers and 60 views per video looks inconsistent. Add views to your two or three best videos so the channel looks watched as well as subscribed.
1,000 subscribers versus 1,000 hours
Channels chasing monetisation often focus on subscribers because the number is visible. Watch hours are usually the harder requirement, and they come from long videos that people watch. A channel with 1,000 subscribers and 600 watch hours is far from monetisation; a channel with 700 subscribers and 3,500 hours from real viewers is close. Plan your budget and your uploads around hours, not just subscribers.
