Price ladder
On the default option, 100 subscribers cost ₹10, 500 cost ₹10, 1,000 cost ₹10 and 5,000 cost ₹10. Subscribers cost more than Instagram followers because YouTube audits them closely, delivery has to be gradual and refills are used more often.
What you get at each tier
Starter is cheapest and drops most when YouTube runs an audit, usually without refill. Stable delivers gradually with a refill period, which suits most channels. Premium uses the accounts that hold up best, with the longest refill window, and suits channels whose count appears in pitches or proposals.
Indian subscribers
Indian-targeted subscribers cost more and deliver more slowly. They suit Hindi and regional channels and Indian businesses. Note that Analytics geography reflects viewers, not subscribers, so Indian subscribers won't change your audience-location charts much.
The monetisation budget trap
Spending on subscribers to reach 1,000 for the Partner Programme often wastes money. YouTube also needs 4,000 watch hours or 10 million Shorts views, plus a review that looks for original content and genuine audiences. Channels can be rejected after spending on both subscribers and hours. Put the first budget into content and real promotion; use subscribers for credibility, not as a monetisation shortcut.
Typical spends
Business channels such as coaching institutes, clinics, real-estate developers and studios usually spend a few hundred rupees on 1,000–2,000 Stable subscribers once, then put the rest into views on key videos. Creators tend to order smaller amounts gradually as they upload.
Example spend
A Jaipur real-estate consultant's channel has 150 subscribers. He orders 1,000 on a Stable option delivered over two weeks and views on his three best property tours. Buyers who receive his video links see an established channel. He isn't monetising, so YouTube's review isn't a concern for him.
Paying and refunds
Top up by UPI from any app. Undelivered subscribers are refunded to your wallet automatically, and drops within the refill period are topped up for free.
Subscribers versus views for a new channel
For a brand-new channel with a handful of videos, views on your best two or three videos often do more than subscribers. They're cheaper per 1,000, drop less, and make the videos people actually click look watched. Add subscribers once the channel has enough uploads for a subscriber count to make sense.
