What 1,000 views does for a video
A tutorial at 40 views looks untested; at 1,040 it looks like something people have watched. For small channels, 1,000 views on a new upload is a believable first-day boost. For channels whose videos usually get several thousand, 1,000 is a small nudge, and 3,000–10,000 is more typical.
Why some views don't show
YouTube counts a view after real watching and filters views that look automated. Cheap views with almost no watch time are the most likely to be filtered, so a 1,000-view order on the cheapest option may show fewer than 1,000 on the counter. Undelivered views are refunded to your wallet. Retention options deliver views that play for minutes and are far less likely to be filtered.
Cost per view and per minute watched
On the default option, 1,000 views cost ₹19. A retention option costs more per view but delivers many more minutes watched, which looks natural in Analytics and keeps your average view duration from collapsing.
Add likes
1,000 views pair naturally with 20–50 likes on Indian channels. A few custom comments, such as a timestamp question or a request for a follow-up video, make the video look discussed.
The public counter
On new videos, YouTube sometimes freezes the public view count for hours while it checks views, then releases a batch. Your order may be progressing while the counter looks stuck. Check YouTube Studio's real-time view, or wait a few hours.
Example
A Patna maths teacher uploads a 12-minute trick for solving percentage problems quickly. He orders 1,000 views with retention and 30 likes in the first day. Students who find it in search see a lesson others have watched and liked, and real views from search build over the following weeks.
Paying and refunds
Top up by UPI and paste the public video link. Undelivered or filtered-before-delivery views are refunded to your wallet automatically.
Views on old videos
1,000 views on an older video cost the same but help differently: they make your Videos tab look less empty for visitors and sponsors. They won't revive a video YouTube has stopped recommending. Put old-video budgets on the videos people actually click from your channel page.
