What cheap gets you
Starter followers are the lowest-cost way to raise the follower number on a Spotify artist page or playlist. They use simpler accounts, arrive quickly, and are more likely to be removed when Spotify closes or flags accounts. Most Starter options don't include a refill.
Prices
On Starter, 1,000 followers cost ₹79 and 5,000 cost ₹395 where Starter is available. The default option is ₹79. Compare tiers in the table, updated 24 Oct 2026.
Artist or playlist
Cheap followers work on artist pages (open.spotify.com/artist/…) and on public playlists (open.spotify.com/playlist/…), depending on the option. The order box checks that the link matches.
Lower risk than plays, not zero
Follows are a softer signal than streams, so follower services generally carry less risk than play services. Spotify can still remove follows from closed or flagged accounts, and cheap followers are the most likely to be affected.
When cheap makes sense
A brand-new artist page that needs to look less empty before your first real promotion. A playlist you're starting for a café, gym or event. A side project. For a main artist page you'll pitch to labels or festivals, Stable followers hold better.
Keep the numbers believable
Monthly listeners are usually several times higher than followers on real artist pages. An artist with 10,000 followers and 150 monthly listeners looks odd. Match follower orders to the listening you actually have.
Placing the order
Paste the link, choose the Starter option and a quantity between 100 and 10,00,00,000, and pay. Counts update with Spotify's short delay.
Free ways to get real followers
Ask for a follow at every gig and in every Reel. Run a pre-save link before each release. Collaborate with another independent artist and follow each other's pages. Put your Spotify link in your Instagram bio. Each real follower gets your next release in Release Radar, which is worth more than any number of bought followers.
Paying and tracking
Top up by UPI from ₹100. The order page shows progress. Undelivered followers are refunded to your wallet automatically, with no hidden charges.
Example: a new rapper's first release
A rapper from Dharavi uploads his first single and has 12 followers on his artist page. He orders 300 cheap followers so the page doesn't look brand new, then spends his effort filming a Reel in his neighbourhood with the hook. Real followers start arriving from the Reel, and he switches to Stable followers for his next release.
Cheap followers and your pitch materials
When you send an electronic press kit to a festival or a label, you'll usually include a screenshot of your artist page. Followers bought cheaply can drop between the day you take the screenshot and the day someone checks, and a visibly shrinking count raises questions. If the page is going into pitch materials, order Stable followers a couple of weeks ahead and take the screenshot once the count has settled.
Splitting a small budget
If you have a few hundred rupees, a sensible split is a small cheap follower order on your artist page, so it doesn't look empty, plus a small amount on real promotion: an Instagram Reel boost targeting fans of similar Indian artists. The follower count makes the page credible; the boost brings people who might actually listen and follow.
