Telegram's enforcement
Telegram's terms ban spam, scams, illegal content and public calls to violence. It responds to reports and copyright complaints, and in India it has removed channels sharing pirated content. Member counts themselves aren't a common enforcement trigger.
Why members drop
Telegram deletes accounts that stay inactive for the period users choose, and bans spam accounts. Bought members from those accounts disappear.
Groups need moderation
In groups, any member can post. If bought accounts are later used by spammers, your group fills with scam messages, members report it and Telegram may restrict it. Use admin approvals, slow mode and anti-spam bots.
Scam reports are the real risk
Channels sharing 'guaranteed profit' tips, fake job offers or pirated films get reported and removed. Clean content keeps channels safe.
Reduce the risk
Order gradually, add post views so readership looks natural, moderate groups and keep content legal.
Example
A Kolkata jobs channel adds 3,000 members over a month and uses a bot to block links from new members in its discussion group. The channel grows to 40,000 real members without any restrictions.
Copyright
Don't share pirated films, books or courses. Copyright complaints are one of the most common reasons Indian Telegram channels are removed.
Login safety
Never share your Telegram login code. Account takeovers through code phishing are common.
Bottom line
Members are low risk; spam, scams and piracy are not.
Channels versus groups
In a broadcast channel only admins post, so bought members can't spam anyone. In groups, every member can write. If you add members to a group, turn on admin approval for new members, enable slow mode and use an anti-spam bot that deletes links from new accounts.
