What Premium members are
Telegram Premium is Telegram's paid subscription. Premium users show a star next to their name, and their accounts can boost channels, which unlocks features such as posting Stories, custom emoji reactions and channel colours. Premium member options deliver members whose accounts carry Premium, which is why they're priced far above ordinary members.
Why people buy them
Two reasons. First, boosts: channels need a number of boosts from Premium users to unlock levels, and some Premium member options include boosting. Check the option description, because not every Premium member boosts. Second, appearance: in a group, a member list where many names carry the Premium star looks like a community of serious users rather than throwaway accounts.
Premium members versus channel boosts
If what you want is a higher boost level, the channel boosts service is usually more direct and cheaper. Premium members make sense when you want both members and the Premium badge in your list, for example in a paid community or a brand's official group.
Premium subscriptions expire
Premium is a subscription. If a member's Premium lapses, their star disappears and any boosts they gave expire on Telegram's schedule. Options state how long Premium status is expected to last; longer guarantees cost more.
Settings
Make the channel or group public with a username, turn off join requests, and pause captcha bots for groups during delivery. Don't change the username until delivery and any refill period are over.
Example
A Bengaluru crypto-education community runs a paid Telegram group for course members and a public channel for free lessons. It wanted to unlock Stories on the channel to post daily market recaps. The admins ordered Premium members on an option that included boosts, reached the boost level needed for Stories within a day, and started posting recaps that drove free members into the paid course.
Who shouldn't buy them
A new channel that just needs a starting count. Standard or non-drop members cost a fraction and serve that purpose better.
Pair with views
Premium members don't read your posts. Add post views or auto-views so readership matches membership.
Drops and refills
Premium members tend to drop less than cheap members, but subscriptions lapse. Choose an option with a refill period if the badge count matters to you.
Market and finance channels
If your channel shares paid investment advice, SEBI registration is required regardless of how premium your member list looks. We don't help channels mislead people about returns.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from any app. If fewer members are delivered than ordered, the difference is refunded to your wallet automatically.
Checking what you got
Open the channel's member list (for groups) or the boost page in channel settings. Premium members show a star next to their names, and boosts given appear under Boosts with their expiry dates.
