Why likes drop less than followers
A like is a single action on one post, and many like services use accounts that are slightly more established than the cheapest follower accounts. Instagram's cleanups still remove some of them, but the effect on a post's like count is often smaller than on a profile's follower count.
When drops happen
Most drops happen in the first few weeks, when Instagram's systems catch new suspicious accounts. Occasionally a larger cleanup months later removes more.
Refill on likes
Like options with a refill period let you press Refill on the order page when the count falls below what was delivered. The missing likes are topped up free, and you can request a refill every 24 hours during the window.
Do drops matter?
For most posts, a small drop is barely noticeable. It matters more on posts you've pinned or shared widely, where people might compare numbers. Use refill options there.
Real likes stay
Likes from real followers rarely disappear. Writing captions that invite reactions, posting at good times and replying to comments builds a like count that doesn't drop.
Example
A Delhi café adds 300 likes to its pinned menu post on a refill option. A month later 20 have dropped; the owner presses Refill and the count is restored.
Other causes
If a post is archived, made private or its audio is removed for copyright, delivery and refills may stop. Keep posts public and use licensed audio. Top up from ₹100 by UPI.
