A size for established Shorts channels
50,000 views on a channel whose Shorts usually get 300 looks like a mistake. On a channel whose Shorts regularly reach 10,000 to 25,000, it looks like a breakout, which is the effect you want. Check your Shorts tab first: the order should lift one Short above its neighbours, not put it in a different league.
Who orders 50,000
Brands posting organic versions of their ad creative, record labels promoting a song through its hook, creators with sponsored Shorts that carry view targets, and agencies running Shorts campaigns where 50,000 is the brief. It's also popular for festival and cricket content on channels that already have an audience.
Delivery pace
On the default option, 50,000 views arrive over about about 3 days. A pace that rises over hours looks like the Shorts feed picking the Short up. For a campaign with a launch moment, add a small instant order for the first hour and let the larger order run behind it.
Protect the number if it's reported
At this size, YouTube's view audits can correct a few thousand views. If a brand or label will compare the count at day seven and day thirty, use a non-drop or refill option so the number still matches at the end of the campaign.
