Why cheap works well for Shorts
A Short's main public number is its view count, and viewers decide whether to keep watching your channel's Shorts tab partly from those numbers. Because basic Shorts views rarely drop, the cheapest option does that job. Spend more only when you need Indian viewers in Studio or longer watch durations.
How this page sorts options
All Shorts view options are listed by price per 1,000, cheapest first, with start time and speed alongside, so you can pick the cheapest option that still starts quickly.
A daily-Shorts budget
Many channels post a Short every day. At cheap rates, adding 1,000–2,000 views to each costs less in a month than one larger order elsewhere, and a Shorts tab where every Short looks watched beats one hit surrounded by Shorts at 80 views.
What you give up
Cheap views often come with short watch durations and mixed geography. Studio may show low average view duration for those views. If you share Studio screenshots with sponsors, use better options on the Shorts you'll show them.
Use the right link
Copy the link from the Short's Share button: youtube.com/shorts/…. Regular video view options may not count on the Shorts counter.
Example
A Ludhiana bhangra dance teacher posts one 15-second Short of a step every morning. Each used to sit at 150–200 views. She now adds 1,500 cheap Shorts views and 60 likes to every Short for less than she spends on a studio hour each month. Her Shorts tab looks consistently popular, and adult beginners from her city message her about classes.
Add a few likes
Indian Shorts usually get 3–8 likes per 100 views. Cheap likes are also inexpensive, so add a few dozen per Short.
Monetisation
Purchased views won't qualify a channel through the 10-million-Shorts-views route and can be excluded from the valid count. Treat them as presentation.
Make the Short worth watching
The first second decides whether real viewers swipe away. Lead with the result, use large text, keep it short and loop it.
Settings
Keep the Short public and live during delivery.
Do cheap views drop?
Rarely. Occasionally YouTube corrects a count after an audit; for Shorts you'll show sponsors for months, choose an option with refill.
Payment and refunds
The minimum top-up is ₹100, and leftover balance stays in your wallet. If a Short is removed mid-delivery, the undelivered views are refunded automatically.
Cheap views for testing ideas
Some creators use cheap views to test which hooks work. They post two versions of the same idea a day apart, add the same small view order to each, and watch which one real viewers keep watching longer in Studio. Purchased views level the starting line, so the difference in real retention shows which opening works better for the next Short.
When to spend more
Pay for Indian, non-drop or refill views only on the Shorts that will be judged later: sponsored Shorts, Shorts in a pitch deck, or a Short pinned to the top of your channel page.
