What makes watch time “non-drop”
Hours drop when YouTube decides viewing was invalid. Non-drop options use sources with longer sessions, varied watch patterns and gradual delivery, which survive audits better than cheap, uniform viewing. Most also include a refill window, so anything that is removed gets replaced.
Who should choose it
Channels close to 4,000 real hours that need a final push and can't afford to see it disappear during review. Creators whose sponsors look at Studio's watch-time trend. Business channels that show watch-time screenshots to investors or clients.
Monetisation, honestly
Non-drop hours reduce the chance of your total falling. They don't change what the Partner Programme review checks: original content, reused content and genuine audiences across your main videos. We can't promise approval.
Gradual by design
Expect delivery over one to several weeks. Daily hours that rise steadily look like a channel finding its audience.
Videos to use
Public long-form videos only, ideally 20–60 minutes, spread across several so no video carries an implausible share.
Order the gap
Check Studio → Earn, and order the difference between your real hours and 4,000, plus a small buffer.
Example
A Guwahati wildlife filmmaker posts 30-minute documentaries about Kaziranga and the Northeast's birds. After 14 months she had 3,600 real hours and 2,200 subscribers. She ordered 600 non-drop hours over four weeks across her six latest films and kept publishing monthly. Her total held through review, and reviewers saw a channel of entirely original footage.
What reviewers look at
Your channel's main theme, most-viewed videos, newest videos, the share of watch time those videos hold, and whether content is original. Make sure those videos would pass on their own.
Settings
Keep target videos public and unchanged, not made for kids, for months after delivery.
Compared with cheap watch time
Cheap watch time is more likely to be excluded and can leave you below the threshold mid-review. Non-drop costs more because it's meant to last.
Keep uploading
Real uploads with real viewers during and after delivery are the strongest signal you can give a reviewer.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI; the price shown is final. If fewer hours are delivered than ordered, the difference is refunded to your wallet automatically.
How retention shows in Studio
Studio's average view duration and audience-retention graph are where low-quality watch time is most obvious: a cliff after a few seconds, or perfectly flat lines. Non-drop options aim for viewing patterns that look like real people, with natural drop-off curves and varied session lengths. That's also why they cost more than the cheapest hours.
After approval
If the channel is approved, keep producing original videos at the same pace. YouTube keeps reviewing monetised channels, and a channel whose real viewing falls away after approval can be demonetised later. The purchased hours were a bridge; the uploads are the road.
