Is 1,000 views enough?
For a small account, yes. A Reel from a 500-follower account sitting at 120 views looks like it didn't land; at 1,100 it looks like it found some viewers beyond your followers. For accounts with a few thousand followers, 1,000 views is a gentle nudge; 3,000–10,000 is more typical. The right number depends on your usual Reel views: aim for two to five times your normal count.
Cost per view
About ₹0.01 per view on the default option. Views are the cheapest Instagram service because they deliver quickly and rarely drop. Options that add reach or impressions, or higher retention, cost a little more.
When to order
Within the first hour after posting, while Instagram is testing the Reel with a small audience. A Reel with early views makes a better first impression on the real viewers in that test.
Add likes in proportion
1,000 views pair naturally with 30–80 likes on Indian Reels. Views alone at that level look fine, but a Reel with views and zero likes stands out.
Example
A Kolkata fish-fry stall starts posting 15-second Reels of the evening rush. Each Reel gets about 150 views from local followers. The owner adds 1,000 views and 50 likes right after posting. The Reels look like local favourites, and a few get shared in neighbourhood groups.

Views versus Reel views
Instagram counts plays on Reels and video posts as views. We list general views and Reel-specific options separately; compare both on their pages before ordering larger amounts.
Buying 1,000 views on several Reels
If you have a budget for 5,000 views, five orders of 1,000 on your five newest Reels usually do more than one order of 5,000 on a single Reel. Your Reels tab looks consistently watched, which matters when brands or customers scroll your profile. Save bigger single orders for a Reel that's already performing well with real viewers.
Do views help Explore?
Views help a Reel's first impression, but Explore and the Reels feed depend on how real viewers respond: watch time, replays, shares and saves. A strong hook does more for distribution than any number of paid views.
