The empty-Live problem
When you go Live, Instagram notifies some of your followers. The ones who tap in first see the viewer count, and if it says 2, many leave within seconds. Live viewers fix the opening: the count starts at a believable number, so real people who join stay long enough to see what you're doing.
How Live viewer options work
Each option states a number of viewers and a duration, such as 100 viewers for 30 minutes. Viewers join after the order starts and stay for roughly that time. Some options ramp up gradually so the count rises naturally. Prices depend on both the viewer number and the duration; the table shows each combination.
Timing the order
Start the Live first, then place the order with your profile link, because viewers can only join a Live that's running. Stay Live for at least the order's duration; if you end early, the viewers leave with you, and the unused time isn't refunded unless the order shows as partial.
Prices
Live viewer options start from ₹10. The table lists each option's viewer count, duration, start time and price, updated 24 Oct 2026.
Make the Live worth staying for
Announce it in Stories an hour before and again five minutes before. Have a plan: a product demo, a Q&A, a cooking session, a gaming run. Say the topic out loud every few minutes for people just joining. Read real viewers' names and answer them; that's what makes them stay. Invite a guest with their own audience to share the Live for a bigger real crowd.
What Live viewers don't do
They don't comment, send hearts or buy badges. If you need comments during the Live, ask real viewers questions, and pin a comment with the key information, such as a price or link in bio.
Placing the order
The account must be public. Go Live, then paste your profile link in the order box and pick the option. Watch the viewer count rise in the Live itself; the order page shows progress too.
Example: a Surat textile wholesaler
A Surat wholesaler goes Live every Tuesday to show new dress material to boutique owners across India. Each Live starts with 150 viewers for 45 minutes. Boutique owners who join from the notification see a busy Live, stay for the fabric close-ups and place orders on WhatsApp afterwards.
Which accounts use Live viewers
Sellers who demo products live: sarees, jewellery, plants, gadgets. Coaches and teachers running free sessions that lead to paid batches. Musicians and stand-up comics testing material. Astrologers and wellness practitioners taking questions. In each case the Live itself is the sales moment, so the first few minutes decide whether real viewers stay long enough to buy, book or follow.
After the Live
Instagram lets you share a replay of your Live to your profile. Replays don't keep the Live viewer count; they collect their own views like any video. If the Live went well, share the replay and pin a comment with the key details. You can then order regular video views on the replay if you want it to look watched too.
Check your Live insights afterwards: peak concurrent viewers, comments and new followers during the Live tell you which topics and times work. Plan the next one from those, not from the paid numbers.
