Why 1,000 is the usual starting point
A Channel at 1,000 followers looks like something people actually use. That makes customers who scan a QR code or tap a link far more likely to follow. Shops, restaurants, coaching institutes, local news pages and creators with an Instagram audience usually start here.
Delivery
On the default option, 1,000 followers take about a few hours to 2 days. Real-account or refill options cost more but drop less when WhatsApp bans spam accounts.
Channels only
This works on WhatsApp Channels in the Updates tab, not groups, numbers or broadcast lists. WhatsApp Business Channels work too.
Plan your posting
Decide what you'll post and when, and put it in the description: today's menu at 11 am, new arrivals on Mondays, results within an hour of declaration. Predictable, useful posts keep real followers from muting the Channel.
Example
An Indore cloud kitchen moved its daily menu from a WhatsApp broadcast list, which had hit its limit, to a Channel. It ordered 1,000 followers, printed the QR code on every delivery bag and posted the lunch menu at 10:30 every morning. Customers who scanned the code saw a popular Channel, followed it, and lunch orders placed after the menu post became the kitchen's busiest slot.
Pair with views
Channels show views on each post. Add post views to your first week of posts so the Channel looks read, typically 20–50% of followers.
Getting the link
Open the Channel, tap its name, then Share or Copy link (whatsapp.com/channel/…).
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from any app; the price shown is final. If fewer than 1,000 followers are delivered, the difference is refunded automatically.
What followers won't do
Followers don't place orders or read your posts on their own. They make the Channel look established when real customers arrive, and real customers are the ones who read the menu, come to the shop or book the class. Keep the order in proportion to the audience you're actually building.
Steadier options
WhatsApp bans spam accounts often, and basic followers can drop by a noticeable share over a few months. If you'll print the Channel's size on posters or quote it to partners, choose a real-account or refill option for this order instead of the default.
