Is 50 right for your account?
On accounts above roughly 20K followers, or on a Reel with tens of thousands of views, fifty comments is believable. On a 2K account with 80 likes per post, fifty comments looks bought; choose ten or twenty instead.
Writing fifty good comments
Plan categories: questions about the product, reactions to specific moments, tags of friends written as a reaction, short opinions and a few longer comments. Use several languages if your audience does. Avoid repeating phrases.
Delivery
Comments are posted gradually from different accounts. Fifty usually arrive over a few hours, which matches how a popular post gathers comments.
Pair with likes and views
A post with fifty comments usually has at least 1,000 likes, and a Reel tens of thousands of views. Keep the numbers consistent.
Example: a Delhi streetwear brand
A Delhi streetwear brand with 40,000 followers drops a limited sneaker collaboration. Its launch Reel gets real attention, and the brand adds fifty custom comments asking about sizes, restock dates and prices, replying to each. Real followers flood the comments with their own questions, and the drop sells out.
Collaborations and disclosure
Sponsored posts must carry #ad or #collab under ASCI guidelines. Don't use comments to fake endorsements or results.

Moderate the thread
Popular posts attract spam and the occasional abusive comment from real accounts. Use Instagram's hidden words and comment filters, delete spam promptly and keep the thread welcoming. A clean, active thread makes a far better impression on new visitors than a crowded one full of spam links and bots.
Reply strategically
Reply first to questions that other people are likely to have, so the answers sit near the top of the thread where visitors will read them.
