What non-drop means for comments
A comment lives on the account that posted it. Cheap comment options use accounts that Instagram deletes in clean-ups, and their comments disappear with them. Non-drop options use older accounts with photos, followers and history, which survive those clean-ups far better. Most also add a refill window in case a few still go.
Who notices comments disappearing
Brands that screenshot a collaboration on day one and again at the end of the campaign. Clients of agencies who scroll their own posts every week. Followers who replied to a comment and later find their reply orphaned under a deleted one. For any of them, a thinning comment section looks worse than a quiet one.
Better-looking commenters too
Because non-drop accounts have profile photos, posts and followers, anyone who taps a commenter's name sees a real-looking profile. That matters on posts where people check who's talking, such as product launches, influencer collaborations and local business posts.
Write comments people would actually write
Short, specific and varied: questions about price, size, delivery and availability, reactions to one detail, a mention of when they'd use it. Mix lengths. Avoid identical punctuation and emoji patterns across all lines. Don't write fake purchase experiences.
How many
Comments typically run at 2–5% of likes on Indian accounts. For a post with 600 likes, 12–30 comments look right. Spread them over the first hour or two if the option allows.
Example
An Ahmedabad interior designer posts a before-and-after carousel of every finished flat and pins the best three. She ordered 20 non-drop custom comments on each pinned post, mostly questions about budgets, timelines and materials, and replied to all of them with real details. Months later the comment sections look exactly as they did, and new clients often quote her replies when they call.
Answer every comment
Your replies carry the real information and show visitors that someone is listening. Reply within the first hour if you can; Instagram also treats an active conversation as a positive signal.
Pair with non-drop likes
If you've protected the comments, protect the likes too, so every number on the post holds steady together.
Before you order
Keep comments on, the account public, and keyword filters off for ordinary words like “price” or “DM”, which Instagram's filters sometimes hide.
Reels too
Non-drop comments work on Reels the same way. Comments that mention a moment in the Reel look most natural there.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from your wallet. Comments that can't be delivered, for example because commenting was switched off, are refunded automatically.
Comments on old posts
You can add non-drop comments to older posts too, for example before a brand reviews your profile. Keep the number modest on old posts, because a burst of new comments on a six-month-old post with no recent likes looks unusual.
