Why comments disappear
When Instagram deletes an account, its comments vanish from every post. A collaboration post that showed 30 comments in the brand's day-one screenshot and 22 a month later looks like you deleted the awkward ones. Refill options replace comments removed this way during the refill window.
How a comment refill works
The order page records how many comments were delivered. If the post later shows fewer comments from the order, the Refill button becomes available until the refill period ends. One tap sends the missing number again. For custom comments, refills reuse your original lines that are missing.
What isn't covered
Comments you delete or hide yourself, comments filtered by your keyword filter, posts that are archived or deleted, and accounts that go private. If you hide a comment by mistake, unhide it from Instagram's hidden comments section rather than requesting a refill.
Which posts deserve refill comments
Paid brand collaborations where the brand reports engagement at day thirty. Pinned posts every visitor sees first. A launch post linked from your bio and packaging. Testimonial-style posts where you've shared a real customer's photo with permission, and the comment section is part of the story.
Writing comments that stay believable
Ask questions, react to specific details, mention a use: “Would this work for a June wedding in Jaipur?”, “Love the mustard one”, “Is there a men's version?”. Avoid inventing purchases or results. Reply to each comment; replies are what make a thread look alive.
How many to order
Comments usually run at about 2–5% of likes. For a collaboration post with 2,000 likes, 40–100 comments is a believable range.
Example
A Gurugram tech reviewer posted a sponsored review of a budget phone, pinned it for a month and knew the brand would check comments in its final report. He ordered 40 custom comments with a 60-day refill, mostly questions about battery life and camera. Three weeks later six had vanished after an Instagram clean-up; he tapped Refill and they were reposted. The final report matched the day-one screenshot.
Pair with likes that hold
If comments are protected by refill, protect the likes on the same post too, with likes with refill or non-drop likes.

Settings
Keep comments on, the account public and keyword filters light during the refill window.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI with nothing added at checkout. Comments that couldn't be delivered at all are refunded to your wallet straight away; refills cover removals after delivery.
Keep a copy of your lines
Save the comment list you submitted in a note. If you later want the same style of comments on another post, you can adapt it quickly, and you'll know exactly which lines a refill should restore if you ever compare the post against your list.
