Why marketplace sellers need Instagram
On a marketplace, your product competes on price in a list of near-identical listings. On Instagram, you can show the fabric moving, the kitchen gadget working, the packing process and real customers using the product. Buyers who know your brand search for it by name on the marketplace, which helps your listing rank.
What to post
Product-in-use Reels: a kurti on a model walking, a lunch box being packed, a phone stand on a desk. Unboxing videos. Behind-the-scenes of stitching, printing or packing. Size and fabric guides. Offer announcements with the marketplace link. Real customer photos, with permission.
Link to your listings
Put your Amazon storefront, Flipkart shop or Meesho catalogue link in your bio. Use story link stickers for new products. Make it easy to buy in two taps.
What to order
A new seller page might order 2,000 to 5,000 Indian followers over three or four weeks, then add a few thousand views to each product Reel. Keep likes proportionate.
Example: a Surat saree seller
A Surat seller who lists sarees on Meesho and Amazon starts an Instagram page with 300 followers. She orders 4,000 Indian followers over a month, posts a Reel of each new saree being draped and adds 5,000 views to each. Buyers start searching her brand name on Amazon, her listing's sales rise during the festive season, and some buyers ask to order directly on WhatsApp.
Never buy marketplace reviews
Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho actively detect fake reviews and ratings, and can suspend listings or accounts. We don't sell reviews or ratings of any kind. Ask real buyers for honest feedback and include a thank-you card in every parcel.
Festive seasons
Big Billion Days, the Great Indian Festival, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan and wedding season drive the most sales. Build followers four to six weeks before, and post daily during sale events.
Direct orders
If buyers want to order directly, take payment by UPI to your business account, issue invoices and follow e-commerce and GST rules. Make return and exchange policies clear.
Influencer collaborations
Micro-influencers in fashion, home and kitchen niches can drive real sales. Paid posts need #ad or #collab under ASCI guidelines.
Platform rules
Instagram prohibits fake engagement and removes fake accounts. Keep orders proportionate and post consistently.
Payment and refunds
Prices are in rupees with nothing added. Undelivered quantity returns to your wallet automatically; wallet money isn't refundable to a bank account.
Support
Message support on WhatsApp, Telegram or email, in English or Hindi.
No passwords
We only need your profile or Reel link.
Product photography on a budget
Daylight, a plain background and a phone are enough. Show the product from several angles and in use. Clear photos reduce returns, which hurt sellers on every marketplace.
Measuring results
Track link clicks to your listings, brand-name searches reported in marketplace analytics and direct WhatsApp orders. Sales and fewer returns are what matter.
Getting started
Top up ₹100 by UPI and place a small follower order before your next sale season.
Reduce returns with content
High return rates eat marketplace margins. Reels that show true colour, fabric thickness, size on different body types and exactly what's in the box set accurate expectations. Buyers who watched the video before ordering are less likely to return the product, and they leave better feedback, which helps the listing over time.
Build a brand name
Use the same brand name, logo and colours on Instagram, your marketplace listings and packaging. Repeat buyers search the brand name, which is the start of a business that doesn't depend only on marketplace ads.
