What monthly listeners are
Monthly listeners is the number under your artist name on Spotify: the count of unique listeners who played your music in the last 28 days. It's the number most people look at first on an artist profile, more than followers. Promoters, labels and fans read it as a quick measure of how many people are listening now.
Why it carries the same risk as plays
Monthly listeners only rise when unique accounts stream your music. That means any listener order is a streaming order underneath, and Spotify's artificial streaming rules apply in full. Spotify filters artificial streams, doesn't pay on them and charges distributors a fee per track when artificial streaming is significant. Distributors can withhold royalties and remove releases.
Why US listeners
American listeners carry weight with US promoters and labels, and Indian artists with North American fans, such as Punjabi, Gujarati and Telugu artists with diaspora audiences, often want US cities among their top locations.
What the order does
The order streams your tracks from accounts that appear American over roughly the 28-day window, so the monthly listener count rises and then falls back once the period passes. It doesn't add followers, saves or playlist adds.
The number falls back
Because monthly listeners is a rolling 28-day count, it drops again when the order's streams fall out of the window. Anyone tracking your profile over a few months will see the spike and the drop.
Pricing
US monthly listeners start at ₹699 per 1,000 on the default option.
Safer ways to grow US listeners
Pitch new releases to Spotify's editors through Spotify for Artists, flagging US relevance. Use Spotify's own Marquee and Discovery Mode if eligible. Run Instagram, YouTube and TikTok campaigns in US cities with large South Asian populations. Tour or play diaspora events, then share the tracks with the people who were there.
Example
A Hyderabad-based Telugu indie singer has strong US diaspora interest. Rather than ordering listeners, she runs a two-week Instagram campaign in Dallas, the Bay Area and New Jersey, pitches her new single through Spotify for Artists and plays two community events in Texas. Her monthly listeners in the US grow steadily and hold.
If you still order
Order a small amount only, and never on a profile with a label deal or meaningful royalties. Expect the number to fall after 28 days. Read your distributor's artificial streaming policy first.
What monthly listeners won't do
They won't add followers, saves, playlist placements or royalties you keep. They won't hold after the window passes.
Getting the link right
Copy your artist profile link from Spotify: Share, then Copy Link to Artist. It looks like open.spotify.com/artist/ followed by an ID.
Privacy
We never ask for your Spotify, Spotify for Artists or distributor login.
Payment and refunds
Top up by UPI from ₹100 and pay from your wallet. Undelivered amounts are refunded automatically; streams Spotify later filters are not refunded.
Our recommendation
Don't buy monthly listeners for a profile that matters. Real US listeners from promotion and live shows grow the number in a way that lasts and pays.
