The 100K signal
Instagram shows 100,000 as '100K', a number people associate with viral content. It changes how a Reel is perceived, but also how closely it's examined. Likes, comments and shares should look like those of a genuinely popular Reel.
Who orders 100,000 views
National brands' campaign Reels, creators with 50K or more followers, film and music promotions, and media pages. For smaller accounts, a 100K Reel among Reels at 600 views looks inconsistent.
Delivery over a day or two
On the default option, 100,000 views take about under an hour. Choose gradual delivery so the count rises like a Reel the algorithm is pushing.
Supporting engagement
A 100K Reel usually has 3,000 to 8,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Add likes in proportion, a handful of custom comments, and make sure you reply to real comments quickly.
Example: a Kerala film trailer
A small Malayalam film production house posts a 60-second teaser Reel. Real fans share it in film groups, and the team adds 100,000 views and 5,000 likes over two days to match the attention it's getting on YouTube. The teaser looks as big as the production house hoped, and the trailer launch gets press coverage.
Paid collaborations
If the Reel is sponsored, disclose it with #ad or #collab under ASCI guidelines.

Consider a smaller size
Many accounts get a better result from 10,000 to 50,000 views spread across several strong Reels than from 100,000 on one.
