Non-drop for views, explained
Views drop far less than followers or likes, but they aren't immune. When Instagram cleans up activity it considers invalid, a Reel's counter can be corrected downwards days later. Non-drop options use sources whose views historically survive those corrections, and most add a refill window as a safety net.
Who needs it
Creators reporting campaign results to agencies, where views on day thirty must match day one. Brands that cross-post an organic Reel alongside paid ads and compare the numbers. Musicians and filmmakers pinning a trailer or song Reel to their profile. Agencies managing many client accounts who can't afford a client spotting a drop.
Non-drop or refill?
Refill options promise to top up drops; non-drop options aim to avoid them in the first place, and most do both. For a Reel that's reported weekly, non-drop is the calmer choice: you won't have to notice a drop and tap Refill before the client does.
How many views to order
Stay within two to five times your usual Reel views, or in line with what the campaign brief expects. Non-drop makes a believable number last; it doesn't make an unbelievable number believable.
Example
A Chennai fashion influencer delivered a Diwali campaign Reel for a saree brand, with reporting at day seven and day thirty. She added 25,000 non-drop views and 1,200 likes in the first hours. At day thirty the views were within 0.5% of day seven, the report matched the agency's own tracking exactly, and she was rebooked for the wedding-season campaign.
Insights and reach
Plain non-drop views lift the public counter. If the brief asks for reach, accounts reached or Indian audience in Insights, choose an option that states it adds reach, or Indian views.
Pair with the rest of the numbers
Campaign Reels are judged on likes, comments, shares and saves as well as views. Add likes in proportion (about 3–8 per 100 views) and a few genuine-sounding custom comments you reply to.
Timing
Order within the first hour after posting. Non-drop options sometimes deliver a little more gradually than the fastest basic views, which also looks more natural on a campaign Reel.
Settings
The account must be public and the Reel live. Don't edit the audio or re-upload during delivery.
Payment and refunds
Top up by UPI; the price shown is what's deducted. If the Reel is removed mid-delivery, the undelivered views are refunded to your wallet automatically.
Reporting tips
Take screenshots of the Reel and its Insights at the reporting points the brand asked for, typically day one, day seven and day thirty. Non-drop views keep those screenshots consistent with each other and with the brand's own tracking tools, which is exactly what avoids awkward questions when the invoice goes out at the end of the campaign.
