Do views even drop?
Less than anything else on Instagram. Views are counted once and Instagram seldom removes them. But occasionally a view count is corrected after a platform clean-up, and on a Reel you've pinned to the top of your profile or sent to a client, even a correction from 48,000 to 44,000 is unwelcome. Refill options cover that.
When refill views make sense
Pinned Reels that every profile visitor sees. Showreel-style Reels a videographer or makeup artist links in pitches. Brand-collaboration Reels where the brand checks numbers at day one and day thirty. Reels you've used as ad creative and want the organic version to stay consistent.
How refill works
The order page records the view count when the order began and how many were delivered. If the count drops below that total during the refill window, the Refill button appears; one tap re-sends the shortfall. Each refill request is logged, and you can usually request more than once.
What refill doesn't cover
Deleted, archived or re-uploaded Reels, and accounts made private. A refill also can't raise the count above what you ordered.
Choosing the window
Options list refill periods such as 30, 90 or 365 days. For a pinned Reel you'll keep for a year, pick the longest; for a campaign Reel, 30 days covers the reporting period.
Example
A Pune wedding videographer pins her best highlight Reel and sends it to every couple who enquires. She ordered 20,000 views with a 365-day refill. Three months later Instagram corrected the count by about 1,800; she tapped Refill and the number was restored the next day. Couples still see a showreel that looks as watched as her work deserves.
Pair with likes and saves
A pinned Reel with 20,000 views should show roughly 600–1,600 likes, and saves if it's useful. Consider likes with refill too, so every number on the Reel stays steady together.
Cost
Refill views cost a little more per 1,000 than basic views. Because views rarely drop, buy refill only for the few Reels that need to look the same for months; use cheap views for everyday Reels.
Settings
Keep the account public, keep the Reel live, and don't archive and restore it during the refill window.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from any app, with no GST or gateway fee added. Undelivered views are refunded to your wallet straight away; refills cover drops after delivery.
Keep your own record
Note the view count before ordering and again when delivery finishes. The order page records both, but your own note helps when you also run ads or a collaboration that brings real views, so you can tell which numbers came from where if you ever need to request a refill or explain results to a client.
