Artist versus playlist followers
Artist followers appear on your Spotify artist profile and get your new releases in Release Radar. Playlist followers show how many people follow a playlist you curate. Both services use a public link and are priced similarly.
What followers don't do
They don't stream your music, so they don't earn royalties or increase monthly listeners. They change how established your profile looks to listeners and curators checking it.
Typical spends
Independent artists usually order 200 to 2,000 followers on a new profile. 500 cost ₹39.50 and 5,000 cost ₹395 on the default option.
Why not streams?
Streams earn money, so Spotify and distributors police them heavily. Artificial streams can be removed, royalties withheld and tracks taken down. If you buy anything on Spotify, keep it to small follower orders.
Better value for artists
Spending on a good Reel or YouTube Short of your hook, a small Instagram ad in your city and a pre-save campaign usually brings more real listeners than any follower order.
No hidden charges
The listed price is what you pay; undelivered followers are refunded to your wallet automatically.
Example
A Pune Marathi rapper adds 400 followers to his new artist profile before releasing a single, then promotes the hook on Instagram Reels. His monthly listeners grow from the Reels, not the followers.
Delivery
Spotify follower orders usually start within minutes to a few hours and deliver gradually.
Comparing Spotify prices
Spotify services are often sold in dollars on international panels, with card conversion fees on top. Rupee pricing avoids that. Look for gradual delivery and a refill period, and be wary of bundles that add plays or 'playlist placement' alongside followers, since those carry far more risk than followers alone. A small test order on your artist link shows how delivery looks before you spend more.
Budget for a release
For a typical independent release, spend most of your budget on the music video or visualiser, hook clips for Reels and Shorts, and small targeted ads. Followers are the smallest line.
