Why Spotify followers drop
Spotify removes followers from accounts it identifies as fake or inactive, usually in batches. Artists and curators notice it as a sudden drop in Spotify for Artists or on the playlist page. For a playlist that artists judge by its follower count, or an artist who quotes followers to bookers, a falling number is unwelcome.
How refill works
The order page records your follower count at the start, the number delivered and the end of the refill window. If the count drops below that total during the window, the Refill button becomes active; tap it and the shortfall is added again. Each request is logged, and most options allow more than one refill.
What isn't covered
Followers lost because a playlist was made private or deleted, a profile was merged, or because real followers unfollowed. A refill can't raise the count above what you ordered.
Choosing the window
Spotify's removals don't follow a schedule. Choose a longer window for profiles and playlists you'll rely on for months.
Playlists especially
Curators depend on follower counts: artists and PR agencies use them to decide where to pitch. Refill keeps a playlist's count steady between your own updates.
Example
A Chennai curator running a Tamil hip-hop playlist ordered 2,500 followers with a 180-day refill. Over the next five months, two Spotify clean-ups removed about 200 and 150; she tapped Refill each time. The playlist's count stayed steady, submissions kept coming, and its real followers grew as she added songs every week.
Refill or non-drop?
Non-drop options use steadier accounts so fewer followers drop; refill options replace those that do. Many options are both.
Keep a record
Note the count when delivery finishes, and check monthly. Spotify for Artists' audience tab shows follower trends for artist profiles.
Settings
Keep playlists public and the profile unchanged during the refill window.
Keep it consistent
Followers look right alongside plays, saves and monthly listeners. Build those with real promotion.
What followers won't do
They won't stream or share. They keep your page or playlist looking established.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI with nothing added at checkout. Undelivered followers are refunded at once; refills cover drops after delivery.
How many to order
Match the order to the profile. An artist with two releases and a few hundred monthly listeners looks right with 500 to 1,500 followers; one with an album and a steady live following can carry several thousand. For playlists, followers can run higher than for artists, but should still match how often the playlist is updated and how many songs it contains. Refill keeps any number steady; it can't make a mismatch look right.
Checking refills on playlists
Playlist follower counts show on the playlist page in the app. Check them after any big Spotify clean-up you hear about from other curators, and tap Refill on the order if the count has fallen below what was delivered.
