The 100K milestone
YouTube shows 100,000 views as '100K', and many viewers read that as a popular video. It's also the number at which brands, curators and press start paying attention, so the rest of the video's engagement should look consistent.
Who orders 100,000
Music labels, film and OTT promotions, national brands' campaign films, and channels with tens of thousands of subscribers launching a flagship video.
Monetised videos
Keep bought views off monetised videos entirely. If a launch video will be monetised later, consider leaving monetisation off during the promotion.
Delivery over days
On the default option, 100,000 views take about 1–5 days. Choose gradual delivery over several days.
Engagement plan
100K views usually come with 2,000 to 5,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Add likes in proportion and have someone reply to comments during launch week.
Example: a Bhojpuri music launch
A Bhojpuri label releases a festival song and keeps the video unmonetised for its first two weeks. It adds 100,000 views and 3,000 likes over five days while the song spreads on Instagram Reels and WhatsApp. DJs and event organisers see a video that looks like a hit, and real views reach several lakh during the festival season.

Honesty with partners
Sponsors and partners should see real analytics. Don't present bought views as organic reach.
Traffic sources
In YouTube Studio, bought views usually show as external or direct traffic. During a launch, watch whether suggested and browse traffic grow too. That's the sign that real viewers are responding and YouTube is recommending the video, which is what turns a promoted launch into a lasting hit.
Premieres
If you premiere the video, promote the premiere link beforehand so real fans join the live chat. A busy premiere chat makes a far stronger impression than views alone.
