Why views can go backwards
YouTube keeps auditing views after they're counted and removes those it decides are invalid. Basic, fast view sources are most exposed, which is why some creators see a video go from 12,000 to 9,500 a week later. Non-drop options use sources whose views historically survive those audits and deliver at a pace that looks like ordinary discovery.
What you're paying extra for
Three things: views that stay counted, a gradual delivery pattern that doesn't look like a spike, and, on most options, a refill window that replaces anything YouTube does remove. The refill length is shown on each option before you pay.
Videos that justify it
Sponsored integrations, where a brand checks views at fixed dates. Company explainers and product demos embedded on websites and in sales decks. Film trailers and music videos linked in press kits. A channel trailer that every new visitor sees. Course previews for an online academy.
Non-drop with retention
If the sponsor or client also looks at average view duration in Studio, choose a non-drop option that lists retention. Basic non-drop views protect the public counter; retention options also make analytics look like people watched.
How many views to add
Stay within what your channel can plausibly earn: two to five times a normal upload's views is a strong video. For a sponsored video, align with the brief, not the biggest number available.
Example
A Pune ed-tech startup embedded its two-minute product demo on its homepage and in every sales email. Prospects often clicked through to YouTube. The demo had 900 views. The team added 15,000 non-drop retention views over a week. Three months later the count had held, prospects saw a demo thousands of people had watched, and the sales team stopped hearing “is anyone actually using this?” on calls.
Pace
Non-drop views usually arrive over days, not hours. If you need the number by a date, order a week ahead.
Keep likes and comments in line
About 2–5 likes per 100 views is normal for long videos on Indian channels. Add likes, and a few custom comments with real questions you answer, so the video doesn't look watched but ignored.
Settings
Keep the video public, comments on and the title stable during delivery. Don't replace it with a re-upload; a new upload has a new link the order can't follow.
What views won't do
Views don't count toward monetisation in any reliable way and can't make a weak video rank. YouTube recommends videos that real viewers click and keep watching.
Public count versus Studio
Studio may show views before the public counter updates. Both should agree within a day or two.
Payment and refunds
Pay by UPI from any app; the price shown is final. If the video is made private or removed mid-delivery, the undelivered views are refunded to your wallet automatically.
