The rule on artificial streams
Spotify prohibits streams that don't come from real listeners. It removes them, withholds royalties and charges a fee to distributors per track when artificial streaming is significant. Distributors can remove your music in response. Treat this service as high-risk.
Why Brazil
Brazil is one of Spotify's largest markets by users. Indian artists working with Brazilian genres, such as funk, sertanejo and electronic music, and Indian producers collaborating with Brazilian artists sometimes want Brazilian cities like São Paulo and Rio among their listener locations.
What the order does
Plays are added to one track from accounts that appear Brazilian. If Spotify doesn't filter them, they may appear under Brazil in Spotify for Artists. They don't add saves, followers or playlist adds.
Brazilian playlists
Brazil has a lively culture of user and curator playlists. Curators there check listener numbers and saves before adding tracks. Plays without saves rarely convince them.
Pricing
Brazilian plays start at ₹89 per 1,000 on the default option, usually cheaper than US or UK plays.
Safer ways to reach Brazil
Collaborate with a Brazilian artist and release a joint track; both audiences hear it. Pitch through Spotify for Artists with Brazil in mind. Run short Instagram or TikTok campaigns in Brazil, where both are huge. Add Portuguese titles or descriptions where it makes sense.
Example
A Goa-based electronic producer co-produces a track with a DJ from São Paulo. They release it on both artists' profiles, the Brazilian DJ shares it with his fans, and they pitch it to Brazilian electronic playlists. Real Brazilian listeners arrive through the DJ's audience and stay for the producer's next release.
If you still order
Keep it small and never on a track you're pitching, a label release or a track earning royalties you rely on. Read your distributor's policy first.
What plays won't do
They won't add saves, followers, playlist placements or royalties you keep.

Payment and refunds
Top up by UPI from ₹100 and pay from your wallet. Undelivered plays are refunded automatically; plays Spotify removes later are not.
Our recommendation
For a Brazilian audience, collaborations and creators work far better than bought plays. If you order, keep it small and expect some or all plays to be filtered.
The royalty threshold
Spotify only pays royalties on tracks that reach 1,000 streams in the previous twelve months, and artificial streams don't count towards that. Buying plays to cross the threshold doesn't work and can lose you the royalties you'd have earned. Real Brazilian listeners, even a few hundred of them, are worth far more.

Spotify for Artists shows your listeners by city, along with saves and how they found you. If Brazil isn't appearing at all, look at where your current listeners come from and what brought them, then use the same approach for Brazil.
