Spotify's rules ban artificial streams. It filters them, doesn't pay on them and, since 2024, charges a fee to distributors and labels per track when artificial streaming is significant. Most distributors' terms let them remove releases and keep withheld royalties if they find artificial streams. This is one of the riskiest services we list.
Why the UK
Britain has a big South Asian music scene, from bhangra and desi hip-hop in Birmingham, Leicester and London to Tamil and Bengali indie artists. Indian artists with UK fans, and British Indian artists, often want UK cities to show in their Spotify for Artists top locations before UK gigs or label meetings.
What the order does
Plays are added to one track from accounts that appear British. They may appear under the UK in Spotify for Artists, if Spotify doesn't filter them. They don't bring saves, follows or playlist adds.
Promoters look deeper
UK promoters and booking agents increasingly ask to see Spotify for Artists data or use tools like Chartmetric. Those show saves, listener-to-stream ratios and where listeners come from. Plays without real listening behaviour often stand out.
Pricing
UK plays start at ₹89 per 1,000 on the default option, priced above mixed plays.
Safer UK promotion
Pitch to Spotify's UK editors through Spotify for Artists before release. Contact UK Asian radio shows such as BBC Asian Network, which still breaks South Asian artists in Britain. Work with UK-based creators on Instagram and TikTok, which is available in the UK. Play live; UK desi club nights and melas are a real way to build listeners.
Example
A Mumbai desi hip-hop duo is booked for two shows in London and Birmingham. Instead of buying UK plays, they send their single to BBC Asian Network, post clips tagged with the venues, and team up with a Leicester-based dancer for a reel. After the shows, fans look them up, and UK cities appear in their top locations.
If you still order
Keep it small. Don't order on a release you're pitching to editorial playlists, a track under a label deal, or a track that earns meaningful royalties. Check your distributor's policy first.
What plays won't do
They won't add saves, followers, editorial or algorithmic playlists, or royalties you keep. They won't fool promoters who check listener behaviour.
Getting the link right
Use Share, then Copy Song Link, in Spotify. The link looks like open.spotify.com/track/ followed by an ID.
Privacy
We never ask for your Spotify, Spotify for Artists or distributor login.
Payment and refunds
Top up by UPI from ₹100 and pay from your wallet. Undelivered plays are refunded automatically; plays Spotify later removes are not.
Our recommendation
Don't buy UK plays for a track that matters. Real UK listeners come from radio, gigs, creators and editorial pitching, and they stay.
